Precious Pearl Photography

I won a $70 beach give away competition where I was told over the phone I would receive a free print valued at $250, later I was told that wasn't the case and that I would have to make a purchase from the gift table to receive the free photo, they ended up honouring the free photo without the purchase of a gift as they had some new staff start around the time that my booking was made. I was supposed to have a wardrobe included and was still waiting to hear back on the day of the shoot what colours I would be wearing, in the end I found out due to the location I would have to get changed in the car or drive down to the public toilets and change (this would have eaten in to my session time so I opted to go out and buy a dress on the day which was disappointing as a big part of the reason I went ahead with the shoot was because of the wardrobe being included). On the day of the shoot my photographer was changed at the last minute due to someone being sick. I was asked to change my session from Henley Beach to West Beach and it was very windy, later when I had the photo viewing the worker made the comment that it is always really windy when they do photoshoots at West Beach - I feel like when I was asked to relocate this information should have been shared with me because I wouldn't have agreed to move my location to a windy spot, the wind made the shoot unpleasant. When It came to the photo viewing there was 1655 photos and this was very overwhelming, it was unenjoyable and took about 3 hours or more to go through them, they said this was far more than they would usually have in a shoot, I feel like it was due to the last minute photographer change and that he wasn't as experienced, either way I felt rushed towards the end to just purchase the last 20 photos. When I received my final prints through a link I was very unhappy with them, I was told on the day of viewing don't concentrate so much on the colours because they would edit them so just go by the poses, after emailing back and forth they did make some edits to the photos, I said overall I still didn't feel like they matched up to what they advertise on fb and they asked me to tell them how I would like them edited, which is obviously not why you go to a photographer. On the foldout print I was posted they were the original photos not the edited version and one of them has a red tinge to it.

Amazing experience with Celeste and Paige, who tailored my long awaited photography session perfectly to my families needs, and were both really friendly and knew how to capture perfect shots of my kids! Studio space was stunning, friendly staff who welcomed me in, and couldn't get over the free lunch on Celeste which was so nice of her. Same day viewing on big screen meant we didn't have to wait ages to see our piccies, and it was so relaxed and unrushed as we chose what we wanted. There is a great range of products and we are really happy with our set of seven frames. We don't often update our family photos so this meant a lot to us, thanks Precious Pearl team!

Photos and photoshoot experience was lovely but would definitely recommend shopping around and checking prices before locking yourself in with precious pearl! After calling my mum after the shoot I came to realise I had spent way too much money for this service and felt obliged to buy “products” so I could have some form of the photos. FULL WARNING this company does not offer digital only packages. 2 11x14, 27 8x10 prints that come in a “fancy box” (with digital copy of the 27) and 2 Instagram reels which they will use for marketing purposes anyway cost us almost $4000!All I can recommend is to shop around which I regret not doing! Precious pearl is by far the most expensive.

We had a newborn session with Paige and she settled our baby over and over again. I was feeling quite nervous about the shoot originally but the photos came out stunning. Lydia showed me all the photos and I must admit we spent way more than we were expecting but we got some products we didn't even know about and just loved them and Lydia included some extra digital images for us as well which made the whole thing a bit better value. I recommend reading the brochure they send out before going but I absolutely recommend the team and Precious Pearl Photography and we cant wait to see all our products in a few weeks.

Recently went through precious pearl photography and had the most amazing experience. everything was very professional and they are absolutely amazing with young kids and families. they are exceptional photographers and have an amazing product selections and packages. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is after capturing those special family memories.

This company is running what is close to a scam.I booked in my newborn/maternity photoshoot which I was told was $395.I was told I had to transfer the money to their bank account to secure my date…. So I did.I was required to transfer the WHOLE AMOUNT, not simply a deposit, as most photographers require.I received an email a few days AFTER THIS with the CONTRACT which states that if you cancel your shoot at ANY TIME, THERE IS NO REFUND.I wanted to cancel my shoot after finding out that ONE DIGITAL IMAGE is $250!!!What is the point in doing a photoshoot unless you get a dozen photos for all the effort and time…. This price is ridiculous.Had I of known my payment was non-refundable, I would NEVER have paid this.It was not made aware to me that my payment was completely non-refundable.I have had multiple emails over several weeks with this company and have just had them try to convince me to have the shoot still and how great it will be. No refund or mention that I will even receive one.Extremely unprofessional way to handle a business and a very unethical and a just plain wrong way to handle bookings, payments and business.I still have not received any amount refunded to me or had any indication that I will even get a refund.

I was a main competition prize winner! I received a sunset photoshoot for my family, 30 digital prints and a beautiful and very generous album. The experience was professional from start to finish and I am so grateful to have captured some very special moments of my toddler’s personality within the photos! Can’t thank the team enough!

Giveaways are a SCAM. Don’t accept or gift their “prizes” to your loved ones - the experience will have them feeling uncomfortable and harassed. All positive reviews below are fake from the workers or their associates. You can find better deals and service with the right research. They have a no refund policy and their contracts are stupid.The photoshoot was awkward. Most of the images from the day were blurry or had horrible angles. Went to our viewing appointment and the lady told us she would charge us $180 for ‘wasting time’ if we did not purchase something. At this point, all we had done was accepted what was offered to us. We felt obligated to spend something after this and ended up paying them $250 for just one print. Straight after payment she kicked us out and we left empty handed. As if $250 for one picture isn’t a stupid price already, I have asked multiple times for it and still haven’t received anything even after it was agreed upon A WHOLE MONTH AGO.You won’t want your images after your experience with them so don’t waste your time or money thinking it might be a nice experience/memory.

The reception was amazing. Took time to make me feel comfortable and relaxed before the session. Baby was a bit fussy but Celest was patient as it settled him and engaged wit him the through out the session.The photos came out great and I got my digital copies in less than two weeks.You'll love the studio space too.
