Brown's Mitre 10

Shocking customer service. Phoned ahead to check if they had what I wanted in stock, was told yes. Upon arriving was informed they didn’t have it. When I explained to the person I had phoned ahead as I was coming in from Ningi, and I was told they did, thinking it might be somewhere else in store, I was met with a sarcastic ‘well obviously we don’t have it’. I won’t spend anymore money here, and glad that the new Caboolture Bunnings will be opening soon. People go on about supporting local business here on Bribie Island….yet with customer service like this, I’m more than happy to take my money and spend it off the island. Mitre10 head office needs to invest time into re-training this store in customer service, as it’s damaging to their brand.

My partner bought shade sail fastners from here and tried to install them, every one of them bending and snapping. We checked online reviews to see hundreds of people have had the same experience. He returned to the store only to be met with a rude and sour manager who not only refused the refund but belittled and spoke down on him, telling him he was useless (essentially, not direct quote). Costumer service by the younger staff is generally good but the people who run it make it an awful experience. Do better Mitre10.

Was weary of other reviews, but decided to make my own decisions. There were plenty of staff, and they were busy helping other customers. Once someone was available they took me to the right spot and knew what they were talking about. I was told which ones to get. In the end they were the wrong ones, but she did say blame her if they were wrong. Kept my receipt and will try to return them.

Always great experience with a wide variety of Home Improvement and Gardening items.Staff members really good. Frienly and a sound knowledge of the productsmaking it a great destination and shopping experience.

Could have a better variety of goods a lot of stuff you can't get there were bunnings has what you want .

Poor at best . Not much in there stock wise and I had my chihuahua on my person not on the floor not touching anything but fully on my person just breathing essentially in there shop . However I was told no dogs allowed ? In Bunnings You can have them in a trolley .. There is not food in store ? Most food premises on Bribie provide for dogs ..Yet this hardware store can’t allow pets on a persons I would have understood on she was on the ground perhaps ? But she was on my person … so I won’t be shopping there ever . New to Bribie need lots of things just bought a home lost a customer who will be spending thousands …

I have always had fast, competent service. Some stock is expensive but it is great to see so many people employed who can help in a timely manor.

Super friendly staff - they usually have what we need.

Staff are usually helpful when you can get someone. Very busy on weekend so can be hard to get served. Prices on most things seem reasonable but always seem out of stock on items I want..... Handy having a Supercheap next door as some lines cross over so can look there are well. Parking usually ok if you don't mind walk 30m, out the front is usually packed. Good pickup area around the back for pick up of bulk goods.

It is nice but for an island like Bribie with this as the only hardware store a lot to small with prices like a chemistry. If you don't want most people driving to the next Bunnings, you should improve.
