Katrina Staples, Marriage Celebrant Hobart

Katrina is an amazing celebrant,My wife and I spent a few days narrowing down which celebrant we wanted to go with out of the dozen or so non-religious celebrants in the Hobart area. We eventually decided on Katrina because she seemed nice and professional and we liked the different packages she offered because we did not want to have an overly long or wordy ceremony.We were immediately happy with the choice we made, we met her at a nice café where she bought us coffee and got to know us. She was very polite and organized, she gave us a wedding planning binder with information on the legal requirements we needed to organize, tips on writing vows, and an organized run down of the ceremony structure.Katrina was very helpful on the lead up to the wedding and made us feel significantly less stressed as she would remind us when we needed to get things done by, she read over our vows for us and she organized a rehearsal with us on the day we met her. The rehearsal was great it was quick but informative, we practiced what everyone would be doing, we established our wet weather plan, and Katrina told us some small mistakes that people normally make during the ceremony which helped us greatly on the day.The actual day was perfect, my wife and I kept saying how surprised we were about how well everything was going. Katrina and her husband arrived early, helping us set up and helping my groomsmen with their bow ties. She talked to our guests and let them know what they would need to do when the bride arrived, she played wedding music while we waited, and she made sure we were ready with the music for my wife to walk down the aisle to. During the ceremony Katrina walked around so that our photographer could get photos of just the two of us as well as photos with the celebrant. Katrina made the legal requirements and vows easy as she broke them down into small sections for us to repeat, which was especially helpful as English isn’t my wife’s first language. She helped us with the signing and then after we walked out, she had our parents come up and embrace us so that there was not an awkward pause as we moved from the ceremony to talking to the guests.TLDR: Katrina is a friendly, kind, organized and passionate marriage celebrant that goes above and beyond to make her client’s wedding day special. She tailors the ceremony to the couple’s wants and is experienced enough to suggest ideas that most people likely haven’t thought of. We were really happy with our decision to have Katrina as our celebrant and we could not recommend her enough.Caleb and Shione.

Katrina was wonderful right from the beginning, friendly and helpful, very efficient and our marriage ceremony was exactly what we wanted. Absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Katrina to any couples wanting to get married you will not be disappointed.

Choosing Katrina was the best decision we made, she was able to assist us to put to words everything we wanted to say.There is so many things to do for a wedding and we were entirely unprepared. She helped us with the important paperwork and put a plan in place for the day to run smoothly. Would not have had all the things ready without her.They fixed all the issues before I even knew they were a thing (as I am typing this I asked husband if he had anything to note- apparent he had an issue with his phone and the music, she fixed it. I never knew)

Katrina is absolutely great celebrant!!!She is a very helpful and always gave us kind words, we have a baby so we prefer to do simple and easy ceremony but still wanted good memorabilia ceremony she granted our wish!!!We are appreciative she done for us:)
