I was told because my son was healthy for 12 months and didn't need a doctor for that time period. To pay $150 because we hasn't seen a doctor for 12 months. How rational is that?!I wouldn't bother stepping foot in this place, the receptionists are rude and look down on you. Never going back! Miss the days when the late Dr Nasreen was in and the receptionists were exceptional now they sit on their high horses and want to take your money!! Avoid at all costs!

I walked in to this clinic not expecting the $110 charge. Foolishly, I accepted, hoping that this would equate to an above standard level of care. It did not.Ever since Sunday (18/06), I've been horribly sick. Usually, I'd tough it out, but I needed a form for uni and some peace of mind. The moment I entered Dr. C Allen's consultation room, it was clear the latter was not something I would receive.I coughed once. Once. And was met with can you please not cough". It was bad enough for him to mention how severe it sounds

I have been here twice and on both occasions the older receptionist and the indian male receptionist who sit on the right have been very unfriendly and curt.  An appalling welcome, considering people are coming here in a time of need. Not even a smile, just all business, they may as well work in a prison.  Clearly the money spent training them on customer service 3 months ago wasnt enough. They are both really disgusting individuals who dont reflect and or, represent real caring medical frontline staff. The $140 new patient charge (which they make up as they see fit)  had no justification or explaination. For those who cannot afford this unexplainable charge, steer clear of this surgery.. for those who can, be prepared to withstand the service and long wait to meet with the 1 doctor they have on duty. Finally, I got a call for my follow up for my blood test, wait for it.... 4 months after the original bloods to ask me to come in for more tests.  I went private.HCCC is my my next stop.

Absolutely disgusted by this medical centre my daughter had fallen and was concussed. The receptionist wouldn't let anyone check to see if she was ok until I filled out a form and paid $100. I would have been fine to fill the form out and pay the fee afterwards but the fact that this centre is more concerned about money than helping a injured child is malpractice and disgusting. Will never be going here again.

negative experience over the weekend with my partners hand infection - seen at 5pm saturday costing us $140 as it was seriously looking terrible and could potentially lead to a systemic infection, was seen and prescribed topical Antibiotic for the wound which was another $30. the next day we had to present to local ED as my husband had become feverish and red tracking up the arms - was seen my medical staff in ED bloods taken and inflammatory markers were high so was given PO antibiotics , which all should have been done with GP, to reduce the stress on ED . bit annoying and waste of time coming to the medical centre really

*** The below response from the Medical Centre is a deflection on the review I’ve left highlighting their sub par service. Their generic “we don’t tolerate swearing, our staff have the right to feel safe” comment is an attempt at holding me responsible for something that didn’t happen, and taking no accountability for their negligence. If my behaviour and vocabulary was so intimidating, why wasn’t this addressed at the time? Not once was I asked to wear a mask, I would’ve happily done so if requested (noting it’s no longer a government regulation to wear a mask). Take some responsibility! I’m obviously not your only unsatisfied customer, your 2.9 star rating reflects that.Medical centres like this are the reason why our poor emergency departments are so overloaded. These doctors have a duty of care which they are not fulfilling, picking and choosing when they are willing to see you. It’s pure negligence. I had my two kids who were seen by a doctor four days prior, we were prescribed eye drops and told to come back for review if they didn’t get better (they had got worse) and I was turned away and made to wait outside in the freezing cold, with two sick children. I was disgusted at the treatment of my kids (who were patients that required medical review). I then had the doctor phone me, I requested to see her myself, she came out and was taking eye swabs of my kids in the middle of the entry way, going back and fourth to her room, and prescribing medication without even performing a full examination of them. It is a disgrace and total medical negligence on the doctors behalf, and the medical centres behalf. I’m appalled at the attitude of the reception staff and the doctor (I tried to address the lack of care with both) and I will be taking this further.

So it seems as if you guys are resorting to flat out lying to patients about how long since they’ve been at your centre just so you can charge us. Me and my partner had been there earlier this year and even the year prior, I know this for fact and somehow it doesn’t show on your records? I literally got a prescription from you earlier this year after waiting 3 hours, that’s how I remember, because of the excruciating long waits and the doctors that get you out as quick as you get in with ZERO care. This medical centre is not worth your time or money

I had such a bad experience at this practice that it’s taken me a couple of months to be able to write it down and post a review. My baby and I were both very sick (with different things - not Covid related) and I couldn’t get into a doctor anywhere in the shire - all fully booked. There was a 6 hour wait at the emergency department and I was thankful to get the last appointment at Miranda Medical Centre. It cost $110 for me and also $110 for my baby - I had hoped they would at least bulk bill my baby. I was required to pay upfront. I was given forms to fill out without a clip board all the while holding a screaming baby and having to lean across a 1m balustrade and reach around a plastic screen. The receptionist couldn’t have cared less that I could barely reach and I was nearly falling over to get the forms and make payment. She gave me snide looks and spoke down to me like I was trash. While filling in the forms I decided that I only wanted my baby to see the doctor. With so many bills and being on maternity leave I knew I could make it though the night and see my regular doctor in the morning. I asked for my appointment to be cancelled and just to keep my babies appointment. They wouldn’t do it. I pleaded with them to give me a refund and they flat out refused. I was feeling so tired and emotional being a new mum and being so exhausted that I burst into tears with the unkindness of it. The flood gates burst and I couldn’t stop the tears flowing. I was so humiliated and embarrassed and I told them that to which I got smirks and more rudeness. When I saw the doctor she didn’t ask me why I was crying. She didn’t listen to what I was telling her about my symptoms and she insisted that I had something that I absolutely knew I didn’t. My baby wasn’t treated with antibiotics and I was told he had a viral infection. After the night from hell I managed to see my regular doctor the following day who promptly gave my son antibiotics for his bacterial infection and ear infection and also listened to my symptoms and diagnosed me correctly sending me for an X-ray. It was truly one of the worst experiences in my life. To be in a vulnerable position, unwell, new first time mum, sick screaming baby etc, and to be treated so poorly like I didn’t matter a bit, and then to waste $220 on a misdiagnosis and no treatment for my baby. They should be ashamed. It was hard to write this but I hope that it can prevent someone having the same horrible experience.

Never have I had such a frustrating experience with a medical center... Called a week ago regarding potentially hopping on medication, was told to complete a full blood test. That was completed and I called back asking for a telehealth conference but management conveniently decides when and if they run them for the day. Finally got one scheduled today with another doctor but they had no idea about my previous interaction with the other doctor so they want me to come in for bloody pressure test" which were not discussed with the previous doctor

Misinformation about fees communicated by reception staff, and poorly trained nurses who showed incompetencies in changing a simple dressing. Please read the many other 1 star reviews about this practice before attending. I regret not doing my research prior to my recent visit, and now have a large $140 bill to show for it.
