This gym is huge but friendly staff too ,Good range of equipment from a free weights area with plenty of room , heaps of cardio machines ergo ski ,stair mills 3 , treadmills and cross trainers .Another area with lots weight machines and then rooms for stretching and another for yoga etc .It's also very clean .

Love this place, big enough, clean, lots if room and equipment for everyone. Shower and change room facilities are also great. The staff are welcoming.

A great gym with a wide range of equipment and friendly staff. Really good rates for UTS students and staff. Several lifting platforms and squat racks. It's quieter in the morning and during the day.

Today I was treated very unfairly. 15 dollars was direct debited from my account as a penalty fee even when there were sufficient funds within the account for my membership payment.I am on a membership and UTS failed to direct debit my account. There was sufficient balance in the account and they blamed my bank (a big 4 bank) to have not released the funds. They then direct debited a penalty without notifying me. I spoke to the staff member which first said it wasn’t my fault and was friendly, then after speaking to the manager changed his tone and said that it is my bank’s fault and told me to speak to my bank. Regardless of whether it is the fault of UTS or my bank, why did UTS direct debit a penalty amount from me without notifying me? What more could I have done other than to have funds in the account and upon me explaining the situation to the staff there, why couldn’t the penalty fee be refunded when it was proven that there were sufficient funds in the account? If it really was the banks fault, then why not try direct debiting the amount again after a few days instead of incurring a penalty fee to me without notice. If a direct debit system is set up, the business is meant to uphold the trust the customer put into allowing direct access to their bank account, by charging this penalty fee onto me unfairly, this is not upholding the trust that the client has put onto the business.Even though the amount is small, $15, This is completely unfair and unethical way of trading. As a university gym, I expected UTS to operate more ethically but unfortunately this was not the case here.To other clients beware of providing direct debit access to your bank account because UTS may just take money from your account without warning and not reimburse it.

$23 for a casual visit. Equipment is a little old but there is lots of it. So that's great! Also quite a few different functional rooms. Eg spin bikes, stretching and circuit rooms. There are lockers in the change rooms which you can use free of charge. Lots of space and not too busy.

Great gym. Clean and up to date.Nice people and helpful staff.

Great time at UTS table tennis

I can see it has been flagged by other members before as well. Can the staff do something about the Chinese trainer (Shen Chen) and his group who are constantly shouting? They act like they own the gym...on top of shouting non-stop, they leave their towels on machines that they use once every 15min!!! I left that gym before because of those guys and I am sure I am not the only one in that case...

Great gym, helpful and friendly staff. I got 14 days for $14, excellent deal!
