I got an aircon installed with Stag Electrical, it was a pretty complicated install and Stag did well, the installer was always punctual and everything was done smoothly. Although it ended up being quite an expensive job at the end so I'm not too sure about value for money. I would say for anyone considering Stag, while you can be confident that they will do a good job, make sure you get a few more quotes.

All the lads who did the install were great. Very neat job, took care in their work and communicated issues so that we were all on the same page. Worth your time to get them to quote as they do good work.

A host of issues that took over 3 months and a dozen visits to resolve. The final piece was diagnosed by another company because it was missed by Stag in all those visits. Issues started when they arrived with the wrong system and only realised 3/4 of the way through the install after all the ducting in the roof was done (we ordered an R32 refrigerant model and they arrived with the R410A model). This meant a week without the system while they sourced the correct unit, and storing the wrong unit for them. The internal and external units that have been installed are not actually a pair but are compatible so they left the one there they'd installed in the roof. Issues with the zone motors not opening were not their fault but they struggled to diagnose and I ended up calling the warranty line and putting them in contact to progress things. The outdoor unit was leaking water considerably also, even though they tapped a pipe into a nearby downpipe to drain this. They replaced 3 of the 6 zone motors which resolved that issue and then had issues with another one they hadn't replaced so had to get the remainder replaced by a warranty agent. Stag adjusted the drainage pipe and unit placement but it didn't fix the water leakage. The warranty guys who replaced the remaining zone motors identified that the reason we weren't getting air to one on the zones was because Stag had installed a zone behind another zone (which meant one zone needed to be opened for air to get to the other zone) and a bunch of old ducting and other rubbish left in the roof from the Stag install. We had to get Stag back again to fix this, put the cover on the outside unit properly (as they'd managed to put it on wrong), and fix the drainage again. They were all nice guys but not enough care or pride in their work and took too much chasing from us to get things sorted. Touch wood that's the last of the issues.

Careless, reckless, and the list goes on. Flooded roof, scratched colorbond, incorrect configuration of inverters, lack of follow up… Had to make it a full time job to chase them up for after sales service and fault correction. The Office Manager in Young is an exception to the indifference shown by the owner and other principals. Wasn’t planning to post a review, but after the 3rd mishap, my threshold was reached.

Received a quote and on-site visit from Mitch, who was cheerful, attentive and knowledgeable on the subject. Good customer service and recommended.

I got Stag Electrical to remove my old gas furnace, install reverse cycle air-conditioning, install battery, panels and inverter. I am very happy with the service, the staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating. As with any new technology, there is a lot of jargon and many bamboozling concepts. Stag answered the questions that I had, while trying to install the panels. I was really impressed that they came back on a Saturday to finish off. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stag Electrical.

Stag recently fitted a solar system to our house. From the consultation through to completion the process was flawless. Highly responsive and thoroughly professional is the way I would describe the experience. The surveyor captured all the details and quoted within the day. The technical team arrived on time, were an absolute pleasure to deal with and took pride in their work. In a word - exceptional.
