Nice shady picnic areas with tables and benches... plenty of lawn areas to lay your picnic mats... need to go early to secure a good spot... plenty of parking spaces available... river is safe for swimming, kayaking and simply playing few water games... kids friendly.. toilets facilities, bin facilities available.. can easily spend a day... will definitely go back...

The Yarra River Walk is one of the more popular walking and cycling trails. the border of The walk starts from Warburton and crosses the Brisbane Creek. The walking loop is 6 km long and boasts several vantage points. Walkers will also come across a number of bridges and lookouts along the scenic walk and visitors can follow the maps displayed on the large information boards during their walk.Also you find lots of restaurants around the area.

Beautiful park along river banks of Warburton. If you are going on a weekend or staying at Warburton, this is worth visiting.Its a great place during summer & still beautiful during autumn.

Warburton Picnic Park
As its name implies, this is a great place for a picnic. Either with BYO food, or something from the many Cafés and Take Aways nearby.Picnic Tables, Benches to sit on, grassy areas, level path by the river, parking, public toilets, heaps of shady trees, a really quite idyllic place to sit for a while, take a stroll, or spend a whole day here.The river is not fenced, so beware of you have small kids as there are some deep areas, especially when the water is running high.

Love this place! Great little spot to take children or have a day out. Park and seating facilities. Little town with a lovely bakery and other little cafes and shops. Mt Donna Buang, is just a 20min drive up the road. In the Winter time, you may be lucky to see some snow!
