Could be bigger, but pretty good for a old ball in a small, lovely suburb. No internet reception in Lake Cathie. The lawn bowl is filled with history regarding Lake Cathie and it's lawn bowl facility and area built a long time ago. Nice paint colour and detailed like a real lawn bowl. Located just outside the lawn bowl recreation facility, you can play lawn bowls yourself if you like. Scenic and well positioned. Well maintained.

My partner and I have only gone once. While it wasn't an overly bad experience, it was quite average. The food was good, although the service was lacking.

Club Lake Cathie is a great club, good food, friendly staff and people and the best greens on the north coast.

What a shame Google Maps has the The Big Lawn Bowl" positioned incorrectly. They show it at the entrance to the clubhouse. Their "Plus Code" also indicates it's there. The free "What3Words" app shows an aerial view and the big bowl can be clearly seen at ///dented.jammed.larger."
