Matt is very knowledgeable and approachable. He is specific about techniques, with psychology behind it. Matt has helped us to understand general approach to puppy behaviour and training. Would highly recommend.

Matt at GC Dog training has so much experience working with animals, and it clearly shows through his training sessions. My dogs were so receptive and responsive to Matt. Moreover, Matt knows how to clearly communicate the intent and psychology of the training to the people he’s working with. The biggest thing I have taken away from our first session is that it’s consistency on my part, and changes in my behaviours, reactions and interactions with my pups that will support them in selecting desirable behaviours over undesirable ones. Thanks Matt! I can’t wait for session number 2!

Highly recommended Matt. I have a very full on Lab cross cattle dog that likes to bark at everything and run crazy. The training has been a big help and I’m sure if I keep going with all Matt taught me things will just keep getting better. Fair price for the service also.

GC Dog Training was simply brilliant! I brought home a rescue dog for company for my primary dog and the trouble began. The new dog was aggressive and I was stressed. I lost my confidence and after a period of time, a thousand opinions and numerous google videos for help had called the pound to take her back but ... at 11pm the night before her take back date as a last minute decision I booked an appointment with Matt for the next morning. Matt was the best thing I could have done. He was super professional, knowledgeable, kind and understanding and the training and education began for the dogs (and me)! The first lesson went very well but a few days later I had another panic attack and sent him a text - he answered me straight back and provided me all the support I needed to keep on going. I implemented all the techniques he taught us every day and within days we had results. By our next lesson my little trouble maker had turned the corner and the girls even started to build a friendship slowly. We still have moments but now I have the skills and confidence to be the leader and dog Mum I need to be to my girls. I am beyond grateful Matt believed in my beautiful scared and insecure Bella and saw her full potential when all I saw was teeth, stress and chaos. Now we have a new family member who is 100% not going anywhere and she has her forever family. We all love and adore her and the help GC Dog Training gave us made that happen.
