I recently had my hair cut by Carmen and I couldn’t be happier. I’m very picky and have always had my hair cut at high end barber shops and I am specific about the fade and cut I get. Carmen listens too everything I said, was really easy to talk to, and did an immaculate cut. I paid what I expected to pay and I felt like it was excellent value. Not only that, the other staff in the salon were very friendly and the whole salon had a great energy about it. I felt so welcome! Definitely would suggest others getting their hair cut here, especially by Carmen.

I have been coming to Heads for a couple of years. From the start Michaela has been doing an amazing job with both colouring and styling my hair. I regularly receive compliments on how natural my blonde colouring looks. She is an amazing hairdresser and such a lovely caring young woman who rightfully takes pride in her work. I have recommended her to friends who are equally impressed.

Have had my hair coloured and styled here for years and never once have left disappointed; they never compromise the quality and condition of hair just so they can achieve a colour in one go and instead give amazing results while still ensuring your hair feels amazing! you feel so welcomed from the second you walk in the doors until the moment you walk out. Can personally vouche for Miffy and Michaela’s amazing colours and cuts, and Melissa’s incredible styling! Highly recommend

Absolutely shocking hairstyling experience with Michaela. I provided images of me with an older hairstyle and asked her to replicate it - simple instructions and a hairstyle that I already knew would work with my hair. Her cut was jagged, uneven, shapeless, and far shorter than what I requested. I asked for length enough for a nice wave and ended up with a bad bob. While combing, she yanked on my ear and eyebrow piercings multiple times (I don't have many, and they are quite small), which was quite painful. I understand that short hairstyles may be new territory for mostly long hair stylists but for $122 I am astounded at her sheer lack of skill. Absolutely atrocious, I would never waste my time and money here again.

Amazing Salon, I’ve been going here for a few years and always walk out super happy with my cut and foil colour. The stylists are all lovely and listen to what I want and always make sure I’m happy with the end result! The whole experience is comfortable and enjoyable. I love my talented stylist Michaela always making me feel like a million bucks!

Cons been cutting my hair for almost 20 years. Travel an hour each way just to get a haircut from him every fortnight. Easily the best hairdresser in Melbourne and the best and friendliest hairdressing salon around!

I've been coming to this salon for years and no matter who I see I always leave feeling a million bucks! Everyone is just so bloody lovely!Miffy cut my hair yesterday and she was just an absolute angel! After I had head surgery in 2018 I was left with a lot of nerve damage across the left hand side of my head which makes getting my hair done really painful. She was so gentle and understanding, constantly checked in that I was okay while she was washing and cutting my hair, and made sure to do techniques that would be the most gentle on my scalp.I can't thank her and the Heads of Camberwell team enough. My hair looks brilliant and my scalp was completely fine the whole way through thanks to Miffy.

Love this salon! I've hightlighted my long hair for over 20 years but was finally ready to cut my hair short and do something different with my colour. I was put in the very capable hands of Vanessa who understood exactly what I was hoping to achieve. A week after getting my hair cut, I got a blow wave at another salon and the stylist wanted to know who'd done my colour because she thought it was amazing". Great cut too that I can manage really well at home.The salon experience in general is also very enjoyable and relaxing. Friendly staff

Absolutely adore my hair every time I visit Heads of Camberwell. I recently cut it fairly short and went slightly darker and am absolutely in love with my hair! I’ve never left the salon unhappy and completely trust all the hairdressers! Thank you so much!
