Beautiful oat flat white and delicious, freshly baked carrot cake. The service is friendly and efficient, and space is very charming, comfortable, and cozy. Lots of options for indoor and outdoor seating. And the wifi is excellent, for anyone looking to bring their laptop and do some travel planning! I usually try a different cafe each day I spend in a new town, but Kate’s was too good to come to only once. Will be back again!

A spectacular find on a cold and very wet morning! A surprisingly good egg and bacon bun. Just the perfect size. Great coffee.Nice spot . My mates had the mushrooms and they were also very good!!

After continuous disappointment to find an open cafe this morning in all of Albany we finally found this little gem. The moment we walked in we knew we were not going to be disappointed. The team that works there is super friendly and professional. The servings are beyond awesome and the coffee was Yumm!!!Definitely the only cafe will ever come back to when we visit Albany again!

Great food, fast and friendly service, fair prices, cute ambiance - can't ask for more. I highly recommend saving a little room for carrot cake at the end of your meal! (Menu pics are from September 2022)

The smashed avocado toast was good and the chicken burger was nice. The vanilla cake was surprisingly good. Good place for breakfast and lunch.

I understand that things are more expensive now days but $15 for half a panini filled with what tastes like pretty cheap ingredients is a bit rich. Nice enough coffee and seems like a cool place to hangout with nice couches

This cafe is nice. Staff can be a little stand of fish at times, however the food is nice I just find everything in Albany expensive the salmon was super nice the breakfast was amazing.

Loved working remotely from this cafe, a very popular spot with the locals too. Warmest place in Albany during the colder months thanks to the fireplace and the friendly staff. Soup/ coffee/ wifi all great :)

We did go here for the ratings. Unfortunately they were a bit exaggerated. The food was okay. I had the smashed avo with poached egg. There was quite large chunks of feta which would have been better broken up a bit more. Presentation lacking. Loud music for this time of day. They also seemed a bit disorganized. They also gave our coffee away. Not much of an apology.

Loved the avo toast!! Cosy space.Special mention to the staff who helped us out - she gave us so many good recommendations on what to do in the area (Middleton beach, little beach store, and Little Beach). It was one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you once again!
