I absolutely loved my time with Sifu Damien. His wide range of knowledge and amazing ability to teach has helped me to understand the fundamentals of both martial arts and fight choreography. The classes were always a joy to be apart of and he genuinely wants to help you get better. He’s also a really easy going and nice person. I would definitely recommend paying him a visit.

Sifu Damien has been working with our clients with disabilities for some time now. He is very well spoken, engages very well with clients and clients really take very well to him. His classes are well put together, and it's great to see the clients, health, fitness, and well-being. The client really like the program and get super excited before they go. Empower Tactical is a purpose built martial arts studio in Victoria Harbour, Docklands headed by Sifu Damien Chauremootoo. Damien combines his passion for traditional Chinese martial arts and aesthetic movie choreography with practical street based self defence techniques hence the instruction of arts like Wing Chun alongside classes in his Empower Tactical methodology. Damien is an experienced, charismatic and caring instructor with an infectious positivity that translates to effective personalised attention and the resulting inevitable skills improvement. Damien is partnered with Emma Carr who provides expert nutritional advice and female specific training. Emma is a former elite athlete with tertiary education in health with a matching infectious passion for all things health, skills and fitness. Empower Tactical also provides opportunities to learn from local and international experts on a regular basis. I can recommend Empower Tactical as a welcoming and professionally run studio with a healthy focus on student progression for all abilities. It is a clean, friendly and well provisioned environment that would make even the most nervous potential student feel immediately at ease.

Damien and Emma facilitated martial arts workshops at our school on Asian Cultural Day. All students and staff thoroughly enjoyed their demonstrations, instructions and interactions. Their workshop was tailored to suit for students from different age groups so kids feel supported and encouraged.

Love those classes! Always learning something new! Training with Sifu Damien gave me a lot of my confidence back and a lot of strength. Not just physically but also mentally. You feel really supported and can see the results quite fast! Highly recommend to join their classes!
