I don’t normally leave negative reviews but my experience at Hanks Engineering was very very poor. Rubbish service and unreliable. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

They did quality work but they have become ridiculously expensive.To the point that they are more than twice as much as any other shop

Bottom bolt on my Xtrail alternator was rock solid. Called Hank 4.30pm. He was around the next morning and got it out for me. Good quick service. Cheers mate!

Went in to get some alloy spacer blocks for a body lift, the boys said no worries and had them done within the hour, for a great price to.Well worth it!

got a 5x timeserts job done for my remote control car Cylinder ( 40 cc )i was going to buy a timesert kit to do it myself, but it was going to take too long...so i decided to go to hanks... well when job was done... a timesert was sticking out of the cylinder a bit.. so i went back and they *fix it* anyways... i tried so hard to fix that engine... i kept getting an airleak... so i stopped the hobby for 1 year +( i was over it )... i didn't realise it was hanks timesert job that was causing the dramas... when i was torquing the 5x engine bolt, after running the engine for a minute or so, they were losing their torque.. and causing the airleak..i went to tell him, and his answer was its been past 1 year i cant do anything, and you should buy a new barrel... ( its around 400 $ for the engine im using) ( 40 cc 2 stroke engine) just buy a new barrel... i wouldnt have to buy a new one if the job was properly done before buying a new cylinder ( it requires porting polishing... )and it wasnt cheap either for a job that wasnt done properly
