Richard was recommended to me by the German Shorthaired Pointer club.I was at my wits end with Ace my rescue GSP. I felt as though I was a slave to him and unable to leave my house without him for fear of what i would come home too.He barked incessantly ,destroyed things took over my furniture etc.I have had previous experience training my dogs however I have a very stubborn one here.After spending a few hours with Richard he has really helped remind me of the basics and how dogs think,behave and react to things.He has given me the inspiration to step up and be the leader and that is what dogs really want.After only a few days i have noticed a real difference .I have taken back pocession of my furniture and he is learning very quickly.I would absolutely suggest Richard to anyone having problems with their dog. Richard has came into Henrys life as a 10 week puppy after one session together I noticed a remarkable change in his behaviour in just a short time.He has taught me tips on how to discipline Henry effectively whilst creating respect, along with tons of fantastic advice to raise an independent dog.Richard also runs a doggy daycare the perfect thing for those busy people among us!The best investment you could possibly make for your puppy. Richard has been an integral part of my family for over 10 years now. Can’t say how much I appreciated Richard’s advice on certain bad habits my puppy started to develop like barking and jumping on people. He gave us insight from the mind of a dog and their expectations.At the end of the day, he trained us and not the dog. The techniques he taught us was so effective, it worked within a week. Highly recommend Richard and his training methods!

Richard taught us so much about how a dog’s mind works, and helped us to successfully address the less desirable aspects of Jack’s behaviour. In doing so, Jack became more settled and trusting. It takes some effort to correct the negatives that a dog encounters in his life. Not only the awful stories of abandonment and mistreatment, but also the mental harm that we inadvertently inflict on our dogs. But with Richard on your side, it won't take long and Jack's story bears testament to the success of Richard's methods.Jack's anxieties disappeared as we took control of the pack, and he relaxed. He learned to enjoy cuddles and pats, even grooming, as you can see in the photo. He also began to relax when we were feeding him, and to trust us.I think there exists a well-meaning but errant human belief that a dog's emotional needs are the same as our own. When we let go of that, and actually listened to Richard and experienced his methods, we rapidly made great progress. Jack went from difficult dog to superstar thanks to Richard's influence on us.
