(Guitar Teacher) Creative Guitar School Sydney

I started learning to play the guitar last April and have been studying under Thomas' guidance ever since. He's an excellent instructor and a warm person to be around. Every class with Thomas gives me a fresh perspective on music and brightens my week. I look forward to learning every day and the entire credit goes to his method of teaching! Thank you, Thomas :)

I definitely recommend Creative Guitar school for beginners and advance guitar players. I started taken lesson with Thomas a year ago and I can see the results already. There is a good balance in terms of music that you'll learn. Classic, Rock , Blues etc. There are also regular events where you can perform in from a small audience. I meet also great people!!

I have picked up and put the guitar down many times over the years. Tomas has kept me engaged and tailored my guitar learning needs which has meant I have been his student for over a year and during lockdown ( via zoom). His encouragement and facilitation of group work has also added to my learning. He has a range of online and in person alternatives to support the guitar process. Would highly recommend to those who want to learn melodic guitar playing.

Thomas is great! I've been playing guitar for 12 years, however Thomas helped me improve my guitar playing tenfold. He taught me a lot about music as an entirety and understanding the importance of melody and harmony even as guitar player. Learning and understanding chordal movement and chord shapes in every key really helped me improve on creating solos and even incorporating bass lines into my guitar playing which is so much fun. Thomas Lorenzo's lessons are fun, and effective. He has a unique way of teaching music, he's not going to drown you in pages of music theory. He'll awaken your creative side while teaching you how to play guitar.

This is my second year learning with guitar with Thomas. I find the lessons challenging and rewarding and the Lessons are pitched just right so I’m practicing more than I ever have in my life with an instrument. Thomas uses a systematic approach of teaching, where I have learnt by hearing and knowing in the body so it Learning becomes automatic. With practical applications for breaking down a song & playing in time, this has helped me when I play with others and for songwriting. Lots of online material to work from and reinforce learning from lessons. Learning in a small group is also great because you learn from watching Thomas teach the other person, so no time is wasted. And we kept learning on zoom when required, which again worked way better than I could have imagined.
