Lakes Resort

Pretty ordinary for the price, door lock to enter very difficult to open took many attempts, shower door off its track I asked to have it fixed 2 minutes later I’m told it’s fixed, well it wasn’t fixed! Tiny bathroom no room on vanity to put anything, no heater only cooling. Reception always closed. Lovely friendly house maid!

Just spent 1 night there with my 3yo boy and the experience was beyond awesome. I actually triple check to ensure I left the review in the right place as the current rating of 3.6 seems to be unbelievably low.I’ve travelled quite a lot in NSW and stayed in heaps of different accomodations. The lake resort is very clean, comfortable and the staff are super friendly. The location is perfect and the lake view is beautiful. I believe they deserve at least above 4.5 star.Special thanks to the staff who gave my boy a toy car :-)We will be back and recommend this beautiful place to our friends.

We went there expecting to see the ever so delightful & helpful Paul, Niki & the girls welcoming faces only to be checked in as a room number by a very rude indian" man

Absolutely disgusting, check in rude and disinterested, dirty room, paid for a 2 bedroom room with lake view and balcony and was given a boxy room with 2 beds in kitchen/dining area with a view of the apartment block next door, pillows and bed so uncomfortable could not sleep.When I went to inquire receptionist was gone and no one seen in the office for the rest of the arvo/next morning.Friend had to pay for another room at resort down the road due to no privacy.I was then charged an extra $150 after I had leftWhen I called to ask why I was told I had left the bathroom in a mess and was yelled at and accused of smoking ciggies and weed in the room. Then told I should apologise to him.I was told there was pictures of evidence and I was been reported to police, asked for pics and said I was fine with them making a report, was yelled at again and told they would not speak to me again.No pics or police report number sent to me.The only mess was the wet bath mat, I followed all their signs about cleaning kitchen even though I was only provided with a dirty sponge/scourer that looked it had been used for 3 months and had to take rubbish bags to bins out the front myself.I actually have chronic bronchitis and had pneumonia so would probably die if I smoked either, smell was probably from infuser used to help nighttime breathing and as far as I know doesn’t smell anything like weed.Completely disgusted and have never been treat like this from anywhere I have stayed at.

Our stay here was awesome, the kids loved it! Great location and amazing staff, who go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy yourselves. The whole team, from reception to ground keepers and the lovely cleaning ladies were all awesome, very accommodating and friendly. I loved this place and I recommend it for all!

The best we've had so far!!! Magnificent views on both sides of the apartment. Apartment is very tidy with a soothing ambience. Though better to have real plants than the fake ones. Need to watch out for the cheeky spiders. Also, pool and spa are slippery and very cloudy and needs regular maintenance.

We had a nice stay at Lakes Resort. Paul and his team were friendly and made our stay amazing.It was fun bingo night with other guests. Glad to win two decanter that night.Great clean room and nice location in Toukley! Great view of the lake at the back.We will come back again.

Not quite sure how it can be classed as a resort? Room was okay, did have a smell to it, unsure as to what it was. Lap Pool, Breakfast and Parking were the reasons for the poor review. For the money paid to stay there, it was a huge let down.

I stayed here for one night. This place is not a resort, it is a motel and I ended up with BODY LICE. I’m so disgusted. Do not stay here.And the free breakfast is just boiled eggs on toast with a creepy guy in the back room staring out at you while you eat.View outside the back yard is nice.

Not a resort as such by any stretch.Rooms are basic and sparse. Bathroom is tiny.Parking is tight for anything bigger than a mid sized car.An unpleasant stench of sewage from the nearby pump station when wind blowing off the water is most unwelcome too.View is good over the water.
