About the Business

Girraween National Park | Parks and forests | Department of Environment and Science, Queensland | Girraween, meaning ‘place of flowers’, is a park of massive granite outcrops, large angular tors, and precariously balanced boulders. Spectacular wildflower displays splash colour among the granite in spring.

Nice easy 30 minute round trip walk from the car park. Plenty to see and of you havr an additional 1-2 hours, consider going up the Pyramid.

If you’re at this National Park for a short time only, I’d recommend visiting the Granite Arch. Short and easy walk from the car park, with a cool sight at the end! Follow along on our adventures around Australia @sambolomio
