Tulendeena Station Rail Trail Entrance
This is the highest entry point, Start of the Tasmanian North East Rail-trail developed by Rotary. A compacted gravel 3m wide rail trail that is mildly downhill for 16k then mildly uphill to Scottsdale for 10k =26k one way. New Dons Dunny toilet at 16k from Tulendeena or 10k from Scottsdale (end of rail trail) So Scottsdale to Tulendeena is more physical than the opposite way.We only saw one other rider coming from the Scottsdale direction. And take warm riding clothes.

It’s a very long walk 26.6km long and be suited to ride a bicycle along this! We didn’t do it but we did visit the start of the rail trail!

Great ride, did the whole trail from Scottsdale return 52k. Interesting facts along the way, the gradual climb from each end gave me a workout.
