Edgecliff Medical Centre

There is only one bulk billed doctor there who is very nice and professional.I just have to point out that some of the receptionists don't have cultural and professional sensitivities. Please don't assume what's good for me based on my race and my gender. I didn't come to a country to be treated differently because I have an accent or I don't look 'Australian'. I won't tolerate causal racism in a medical center. It's completely random.

Very convenient as right at Edgecliff Train Station and shopping centre. Mix of private and bulk bill doctors. I saw Dr ****** *** and she was so kind and lovely and friendly and professional. I did not feel rushed and she was knowledgeable. There is a pathology right next door too. The receptionists were ok. Not that friendly but definitely not unfriendly. Overall a good medical centre.

1 bulk biller!!!! Huge practice but why bother if its private. Go somewhere nicer. Also dont bother sexuel health total misdiagnosis. But i suppose not a specialist

1 hour waiting time, but then I understood why. I got an appointment with Dr. Brenner, and he takes his time with each patient as he's really engaged on understanding overall background/illnesses/etc, answering all questions, and helping as much as possible.

Would highly recommend this practice. I travel an hour on train to bring my baby to be seen at this practice. She usually sees Dr Judelman who is such a great Dr and is good with kids. Staff and practice manager are the nicest people and always go out of their way to make sure my daughter is seen when we do not have an appointment booked in.

The WORST GP I have ever been to. Go to the Double Bay Doctors instead (the doctors are far more knowledgeable and the reception staff know what they are doing).I had a Telehealth appointment for a repeat prescription with Dr May Smith. She sent me a scanned copy of the prescription and after going to the chemist I was told prescriptions are not valid in this format (I would have expected a GP to know this). I called the medical centre and they assured me they would send the prescription directly to the pharmacy and after waiting a half an hour I gave up. I called the medical centre again the next day and they assured me the prescription had been sent to the pharmacy again. I went back to the pharmacy and it had again not been sent over. The pharmacy tried calling the medical centre and I was told I would have to physically go in to collect my prescription.

I had on and of experience with the CenterI Must say a HUGE THANK YOU to the Katherine, the lady who takes bloods for analysis, she is very professional and kind!Dipty the other girl from pathology department wrecked my vein for a several times , instead of apology I got an aggressive negative outcome, I’m a quiet surprised why it was happened and why she is still here..!Reception staff are rude and rude!GP’s / Doctors can’t pronounce even your short name correctly And some of them struggles sometimes remember your concerns (even it is on the file ) , some of them even give you a wrong diagnosis.. elderly gps especially!It is disturbing and outrageous !

I have had mixed experiences here. I first went here 10 years ago and had the worst experience. Since then and moving back into the area I have been seeing a new doctor and she is GREAT. Super easy to chat with and reliable. I have 3 doctors I see here now and couldn't fault them.

Visited today for a vaccination for my 5 month old infant. All was fine with the doctor, however after the needle she was quite upset so I sat in the corner of the waiting room to try settle her with a breastfeed. I was informed by a receptionist I couldnt breastfeed there and would need to move to a private room.Breastfeeding in any public space is a woman's right, and to tell someone they can't is not only illegal, it's discouraging and humiliating for a woman who is simply trying to feed her child.

I am a patient at the centre. The place is quite bureaucratic with various rules that make it difficult to contact one's GP or get information. I have spent the last week trying to get a CT scan from my GP to my cardiologist, so far without success. Waiting for an operator on the phone is maddening as you get to hear the message about the centre being an easy visit clinic" a million times. It may be easy to visit
