Elite consumer of chinese food here and I rated this place. Food was great tasting, fresh and the service was prompt. We ate a lot and didn't walk out feeling sick or getting the MSG sweats. Do yourself a favor...

I sat-here for 55 minute’s waiting for my takeawayThey told me I should say a number not my name. I sat there why everyone looked at me. I asked me four times what my name wasI said could you please make it again they said no. It was my fault because I did not say the number, I didn’t know that you had to say the number on your receipt not my name, but no one asked me that I asked for different people where my order was, but obviously they were way more interested in the Uber drivers then people giving them money, directI got home it was all freezing cold. I had to put it in the pan One of the worst experiences for a Friday night take out

Often here for dinner. Food is very traditional Chinese food. Enjoy it a lot. But price and portion does not match. First time order take away on Chinese new year, peak duck was at least half portion than dine in. Asked the staff, they replied me: yea, we have been cutting portion… this is ridiculous because they serve peak duck with one or half… you can’t just give the customer less if they order a full duck… I guess the kitchen chef is hungry….

My wife and I got invited out to this establishment for dinner. OMG what can I say ,the food was amazing the portion sizes were so generous and the flavours just made us want to keep on ordering. 4 of us had such a great time, the service was exceptional even though the staff were under the pump with a full restaurant.Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Great Chinese restaurant, tables were tightly packed and full, staff were turning people away lining up outside who hadn’t booked on a busy Sunday afternoon. Parking out front is limited but there’s plenty of spots on St Peter’s street with a larger car park behind too. The banquet was excellent, good serving sizes and great to share with friends. There were lobsters fresh on display in their tanks too.

Have tried dishes like roasted duck, salt and pepper prawn, fish fillets. All of them are really nice. Today we tried Salted egg with jumbo prawn which is more expensive than other dishes. It is not worth at all. Prawns are so small and taste is not good. Some of them also not fresh. Roasted duck tastes great but this time, we found hairs as shown in photo. Although tried to call the restaurant for feedback, no one responded.

Ordered via uber eats 3 mains and 2 soups came in tiny containers and only half filled and cost $84. Beef satays came cold and chewy, inedible. Soups had no flavour other than thickner. I have been to chef dong many times and have enjoyed but this was disgusting. Unlikely to return.
