National Wool Museum
Located a few blocks from the beach. Parking available on the street or across the road at Westfield.Entry fee is $10 for adults and free of you are a deakin uni student, fun place to visit, spent a couple of hours here. There's at least 3 floors of the museum to check out, and a photography section. There is a section where you can build with Lego, and an activities section to draw and colour in artwork. The museum is open from 10am daily, and closed Christmas day, boxing day, and Good Friday.

A fun few hours of activities in here. There are interactive art exhibits for kids to play with on the top level for a limited time. The place itself is quite educational for those who wish to learn more about the history of wool industry in Victoria and its relationship with indigenous Australians. Takes around 1 to 1.5 hours in there.

Fantastic museum to spend 2 to 3 hours depending on your interests.I went specifically for the wildlife photography (which is every year) but also very much enjoyed learning about the historical wool industry.

Good place to visit with family. They also have Lego section for kids in top floor...which was helpful in keeping kids engaged.

Loved this place. You get to see the machinery and the process involved to make wool. It's clean and spacious. You can spend 90 min to maximum of 2 hours. There is no food options inside. Carry bottle of water if you can.
