A cute little cafe that serves delicious food. My sister and I ordered the waffles (bacon, pistacio cream with maple syrup and strawberries) which was delicious and highly recommend if you like your sweet and savoury flavours combined together. Our partners ordered the Dandy" which is pretty much a big breakfast. Only comes with 1 slice of sourdough toast though so order another slice if you like your bread. It is small though and if you like your space

Came up from the south-eastern suburbs for an outing with a friend, was pleasantly surprised by this cute little cafe located in a high-traffic area of Belgrave! Service was prompt and staff were exceedingly welcoming. Both the interior and exterior were well-maintained and clean. Food was delicious and priced fairly, especially in comparison to some of the more tourist-trap locations scattered throughout the Ranges! I would recommend trying their croissants and fries. Well done, guys!

Rustic Cafe
Great pumpkin puree pancakes and Carnivore which are specials in October. Their Devo is great as are their waffles. Lovely, friendly staff. Does get quite busy so get in early. Highly recommend!

Beautiful little gem in the heart of Belgrave.We loved the community feel of this place and the customer service was wonderful. Highly recommend their current special the Persian eggs for brekky.

Flustered staff, poor service, 30 minute wait for a coffee and one hour wait for bacon and eggs. 20 minutes after we ordered the beans we were told they were out and had to order something else. My husband then ordered the bacon and eggs with salmon, but the waitress returned and said they were also out of salmon.Staff were apologetic of the wait and offered a complimentary drink to make up for the time we had been there but we were reluctant to order more coffee’s due to the 30 minute wait the first time around and had already been there for an hour so ordered juice which they were also out of.Had to collect our own menu’s on arrival as we didn't receive any when seated and none came for 10 minutes. Weren’t served to order so went to the counter to order. Staff said they’d serve us and to sit back down….The customers to the right of us had to do the same and also sat with the previous customers dirty dishes on the table in front of them for 15 minutes despite being seated at this table by the staff it was not cleared.The hash brown was a thick, rubbery looking quiche with no flavour and my meal was not served as described. “Beetroot relish and spring onion garnish” no where in sight. 2 plain pieces of toast with 2 poached eggs and bacon, no different to what I could have made at home in half the time.Don’t waste your time or money.

We enjoyed a relaxed Sunday brunch at Rustic cafe in Belgrave. The staff were warm and welcoming and the meals were generous, delicious and well presented. Offering indoor and outdoor dining options, you won’t be disappointed. Coffees were spot on and the service was quick and efficient. We’ll be back to try the appealing selection of homemade cakes and pastries for sure! Well gone guys.

Lovely food, lovely staff, excellent coffee, and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch. Glad to have found a new, quality local cafe.

Was craving an iced coffee for the day and was recommended Rustic as a good place to go and try out. I was greeted by Clover with an infectious smile and 10/10 service. It was an evidently busy period of the day (roughly around 1pm) and the atmosphere was booming.We were directed to lovely seating outside, and was made aware about the estimated wait time of our order.After placing my order for the iced coffee that I was dying for, I received and devoured the best iced coffee I have had in a long time. Served with a generous scoop of ice cream and topped with amazing caramel syrup, I just had to review this bewildering cafe!Overall, I can’t stress anymore that this is the place for all your go to food and cofee needs. Look no further, rustic the place to be!
