Queenslands oldest pub (sic) with a huge outdoor area for meals. Free camping area with hot showers and toilets for use. Bucket list spot for a beer and some big meals on the menu if you are hungry.

I’m riding through Queensland and camped here in a tent by the river. As I don’t eat meat I was anticipating wedges or chippies for dinner, so the Veggie Burger Special was an absolutely wonderful surprise. Lucky for me some of the staff are vegetarian so the chef is experimenting. The cauliflower steak burger was fabulous!Showers were clean and the donation box is opposite the Nindigully mural on the toilet block (a little hard to see at night.)Staff were friendly and kindly refilled my water bottle.

Excellent pub situated in the outback. It's the oldest licensed pub in Australia. Well worth a visit & a stop over if drinking. My niece & I stayed the night with friends. Live music on the Saturday we visited. Food available & usual Aussie beers.

Wow! After a bit of a drive this place is like an oasis in the desert. Entering the pub is like going back in time with lots of interesting memorabilia on the walls and a dining room with sloping floor. The beer garden has plenty of space and has a small playground for kids. The 1.5kg steak sandwich was a classic! Definitely worth the detour to check this place out, even if only to see if you can get through the steak sandwich.

What a Pub! THE BEST!!! Our second time at the pub and every time has been an awesome experience. Slot of history and plenty of character! Definately recommend having a cold here.

Oh my god what a place. The camp site out the back. Spacious and the campers come and go up to 20-30 vans then next day next to no one. Really gives you a wake up call how many of us are out there. The meals and service second to none. We were here whilst two young couples from the U K we’re waiting and serving. We had our two boxers with us. Felt so welcome and included. What a great place to stay and eat and relax. Would definitely revisit if we get the chance. Thank you so much x

Free camping at the oldest pub in Qld. Some powered sites avail for a fee. Great atmosphere, terrific food and amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The camp fire at night brought campers together to share laughs and tips. A must do Pub. Make sure you support the local area.
