I did tutoring with GamsatScience for nearly 4 months for all 3 sections - I kept it up for that long because my tutors were just so helpful. They tailored their teaching to me and worked at the pace I needed.I got an insane number of essay ideas from my section 2 tutor to give me the confidence to write on any topic. She was so knowledgeable. She also taught me a range of structures to use, and how to write in different styles for different topics.Going into section 3 tutoring, math was definitely a weak point but my section 3 tutor gave me a lot of math problem solving skills. Instead of focusing on content which has no guarantee of coming up on the day, we focused on how to solve problems, look at graphs, flow charts, pattern recognition - super helpful.This is the first time I've had any form of confidence going into GAMSAT. So glad I made the commitment of tutoring with GamsatScience, I'd definitely recommend. Alison and James went above and beyond, will definitely be getting their help in the future!

Alison and James are amazing tutors. They were both very good at section 2 and section 3 accordingly. They taught me the essential skills to these sections and I was able to achieve 65 and 72 in the September GAMSAT. I am very grateful to them and I am intending to go back to them for more help!

I just had my first sitting of the GAMSAT in March. For study prep I really had no idea where to begin, what resources to use, or how to use them. Arun (S1 and S2) and James (S3) guided me through the months leading up to the exam with a great method/study plan to follow. They were readily available to answer my questions via text and I would absolutely recommend using GAMSAT science tutors.

Alison was an amazing tutor to have for section 2. Her feedback is always to the point and I knew exactly what I had to work on at the end of every session.

If you look up advice on how to improve on the GAMSAT, the one piece of information that appears more often than not is to not bother with Section 1 (S1) study as it is ‘virtually impossible to improve on’. Unfortunately, I was someone who believed this narrative and therefore, my overall score always took a hit because of my abysmal Section 1 marks – until I met Alison.Very quickly she was able to identify the gaps in my knowledge and organize our lessons accordingly to ensure that my shortcomings were addressed. Within a few lessons, the S1 questions not only started to make complete sense but I began to genuinely enjoy answering them whereas before, I found S1 confronting and tiresome. Alison also provided me with a fantastic range of resources and with regular practice and her guidance, my score improved from ~ 50 to a 63!I can only describe Alison as an extremely gifted teacher. She is also kind, patient, dedicated and exceedingly supportive of your journey into medicine – no matter where you are in it. She has a remarkable ability to identify a student’s weaknesses and adjust her tutoring accordingly which greatly benefited me. She is also very fun to work with and the overall positive energy that she brings to the sessions will no doubt generate an enthusiasm for S1 as it did for me! If you are struggling with S1, then look no further than Alison for help!

Leading up to my first attempt at GAMSAT in September I had no idea of how to tackle section 1 and was feeling very anxious for it. Thanks to tutoring from Amy I felt super confident just after a couple sessions with her and I was no longer worried going into the exam. Not only did it she tailor the lesson to tackle my specific weaknesses but I always looked forward to tutoring because of how much I felt myself improve over the lessons. I’m very happy with my result from S1 so I’m extremely grateful for her help and mentorship

I had an increase of 12 marks in Section 2 from March to September. Alison is a great tutor as she understands the needs for ESL students. Different skills like interpreting quotes were taught clearly in her tutorial sessions!

As an international student, I was completely lost to prep for Gamsat. My experience with Alison, Tao and Arun greatly helped me to improve my scores.
