Good experience. Lovely staff. Very helpful and a wonderful wine tasting experience. The wood fired pizza was amazing!

Had dinner here probably one of the best steaks I've had. Highly recommended good service and friendly staff.

We had an OK experience here. The only way we could put our finger on it is by realising that it's actually a function space trying be a restaurant. Bare walls, clinical lighting, it's an empty canvas waiting for a wedding decorator. Unfortunately, it makes for a very sterile dining environment. The menu appears to be decent and while the steak and fish we ordered were perfectly cooked, the dishes themselves were ordinary. 'Duck fat potatoes' were just bland roasted spuds. 'Carrot and cumin puree' had chunks of carrot still in it and didn't have a hint of cumin. 'Citrus quinoa' in the haloumi entree was just a bland quinoa. Our chocolate tart dessert with 'confit morello' cherries seemed like morellos out of a jar with some of the liquid dribbled around it. It's well intentioned but just doesn't hit the mark and ends up again feeling like a function space with alternating drop dishes. The wine list is confusing. In the middle of one of Victoria's up and coming wine regions, there are only 3 reds and one is South Australian. The dinner service was friendly and attentive, no complaints there. Breakfast, however, was in the process of falling apart with delays when the food ran out and made-to-order coffees with what we were told was about a half hour wait. (The recommendation was to use the perfectly fine pod machine you normally see at conventions.)In all, there's nothing terrible about this restaurant. And for the $65 for 2 course price tag, it's almost decent value. Perhaps it was an off night? But it certainly isn't the great dining experience that should accompany such a beautiful location as Cleveland Winery.

Fantastic food and great service. The staff were all friendly and the food was great. We were there on a training course and were provided a wide range of options which were all really tasty. Thanks!

Had lunch here today. Lovely place to have lunch. Inside of the building was better as it was too windy to sit outside deck. Food was good.

Too was expensive for what you got. To start, packet butter and bread rolls that looked to also be from a packet. The restaurant is dressed up to be fine dining, but lots of little things indicated otherwise. E.g. clinical lighting, cobwebs and insects across the roof, selling international wine when they are a winery themselves is really weird (I always want local wines when I go to the country). Kind of reminded us of a place for Gorden Ramsey kitchen nightmares. Again, this all would have been fine if not for the price. The food was actually nice at least, especially the lamb cutlets. The service was extremely slow, but I'm hoping that meant all the food was cooked themselves, not out of packets. We didn't want to try the wines after that. We've been to some really fantastic wineries in the region, so it's weird to not invest more in your wines (i.e. again selling international wines in your restaurant is super weird). This winery is not Australian owned we discovered, so I recommend going somewhere that is. Support small business.
