Francis street RV 24h car park

Got to give Geraldton 5 stars for Free camping for self contained campers/motor homes. Park in designated bays. Read the notice board in photo i took. Water and a dump point available.

A very large and spread out parking lot, but only a couple spaces designated for campervans. We stayed overnight on a Saturday and it was extremely peaceful, no noises as mentioned by other reviewers. The bathrooms are indeed 300m away in a separate area (by the playground), and are NOT accessible at night or early morning. We did feel safe with the police patrolling around, so that was good.Overall 3/5 stars it's okay" as it's a free spot to park and scenic by the waterfront

Large car park near town beach in Geraldton that allows overnight parking for motorhome, camper vans and caravans. Must be self-contained.Time and Cost: 24 hours, free.Access: Sealed road.Facilities: Large sealed car park with multiple spaces and no shade. Dump point, potable water and bins. Toilet block 300m away near child's playground. Excellent Optus, Telstra and TV reception.Ambiance: Can be noisy as near to port and rail activities. Very bright at night due to lights.Suited as an overnight stopover for self-contained vehicles. Close to many shops and services in Geraldton. Town beach is sheltered and the foreshore offers many activities especially on weekends.

Great spot for self-contained vehicles. Early morning walk and swim on doorstep, 5 minute walk to town and cafes.

A secret gem. Spacious and free 24h overnight parking spot. Yes, it can be noisy from the neighboring harbour but it's close to the beach, a playground, a water playground and some restaurants. Toilets are next to the playground and there is a dump station right in the middle of the parking lot.
