Been going here for some 20 years and heading there again this weekend. Love their produce and the environment. Highly recommend

The Almond Train
A train compartment converted to a boutique. They sell different varieties of almonds, nuts and lollies. The price is a little bit high. But some products are priced reasonably. On-site car park is available. Not busy at all.

I visited with a family member from out of town and they were closed at 3:30PM on Friday. Their online opening hours (and hours on the sign on the road) say they close at 4:30PM.Time to update the sign! Not happy Jan.We'll go to the other one down the road, your loss.Reading other reviews certainly didn't help...

The Almond Train
Small feature of the town. Two train carriages repurposed, the redish has a range of savory and sweet good (chocolate coated nuts, lollies, relish) and the green is a cafe. The cafe was closed during the visit. The man (who appears to be the owner based off the other reviews), didn’t greet upon entry, but did grow friendlier once we appeared with a few things to purchase. Wasn’t much for small talk, and conversation felt a little forced. I couldn’t help but notice the for sale sign, which indicates to me he may be looking to retire. Go here to support a small business, but note that the goods are overpriced.

We purchased a small bag of chocolate-covered Turkish delight 4 days ago and have kept it in the fridge the whole time. Upon eating the last one I discovered that there is mould growing underneath the chocolate.

The Almond Train
An old train carriage converted into a lolli shop, what more would you want in life. A nice selection of sweet treats, gifts and other bits and pieces for you to browse. The hardest decision is knowing when to stop adding chocolate to your basket. A must stop.

A train compartment turned in to a nuts selling shop. It’s cosy and beautiful. You can find a variety of nuts including almonds, macademia and a variety of sweets such as lollies. The prices are a little expensive. But with how well they’re packed and the cost of maintaining that unit, I believe the price is fair. You can find both sweet and savory nut types. Mostly sweet though covered with chocolate or honey or milk or sugar. Right next to the almond train is a japnese restaurant that’s also on wheels.

Very cute shop inside a train, yummy snacks and very reasonable price. Highly recommended as a stop over for snacks and photos.

The Almond Train
The Almond Train sells lots of nutty treats, dried fruits, sweets and some giftware. I would have liked to purchase a small model train or train related products but they were very limited. I do recommend the cinnamon cashews. If you love nuts, you have to visit the Almond Train.
