Dee's Charcoal Chicken

Tonight we ordered in from Dees Charcoal Chicken. We ordered “deal 4” and can I just say I am so impressed with the quality of food and the value for money. By far the best chicken in the area!!!

I am not exaggerating the 5 stars Dees never fails to satisfy my hunger not only is the chicken perfected but the lamb is cooked to perfection with the juiciest texture and greatest flavour you’ll ever have, you won’t find in any other restaurant like this one. Outstanding!

First of all Dee's Charcoal Chicken Minchinbury treat you like family, Wether you're a new or repeat customer. All their food is delicious from the salads to the chips and the main thing, the chicken. In my honest opinion they make the best charcoal chicken I have ever tasted, and their chips are crispy on the outside, soft n fluffy on the inside, I'm pretty sure they double fry, they season their chips with something that makes them taste irresistible. I 100% recommend this place for a great sit in or take away experience 11/10 will eat again.

Wow! Fresh fresh fresh!!! Loved the burger and rice was off the charts! Best thing for families or after a big day out. Friendly and warm service and loved the sink to wash hands before and after a meal. What a great addition.

I would like to be contacted by the manager.If I had the chance to review this place a month ago I would have given them 4 stars easily but with the experience I had today I would easily say less than a star.I ordered 2 dees special and cauliflower plates, as well as spicy chicken wings for takeaway.I got my order and for the second time in a row they forget the tabouli with the order. When I called to tell them, the girl that picked up the phone sounded so lost. She said to come and pick it up now, how do I drive 15 min going and 15 min coming back to take it? That’s just ridiculous. When I asked her can I speak to the manager, she said she doesn’t know where the manager is. I said when will the manager come back, she said I don’t know. When I kept insisting she forwarded me to her colleague. The other girl was as clueless as her. Then she said the manager is here, she clearly came back claiming she is the manager. When I said that to her I could hear both girls laughing!! What kind of staff would make a joke about this. How did their manager not train them enough not to laugh at customers and claim to be managers!!! Then they forward me to another person which was male. I didn’t bother asking who he was because clearly I could hear the girls laughing at the back and he came to make another joke. I told him I want both of the girls names and he did not give them in. Those girls worked on Sunday at 6:30 pm. I am sure the manager knows who he gave those shifts to. But I require to speak to whoever is the manager. This behaviour is ridiculous!And from the food side of view. I have been eating from this place for a year now and what I got today was very different. Their portions have changed. The chicken wings are super tiny.The cauliflower is basically burnt. See image attached.The staff you are hiring are going to make you lose your business.If I don’t update my review, it means clearly the manager ignored this too.

Really nice charcoal chicken cooked well and tasty. Thanks to owner danny who gave excellent service definitely going back for more because of the service he provided. Nice clean shop with easy to understand menu.

Ordered 6 chickens for an event days in advance. Arrived & none of them were prepared as they got the date wrong. We went out of our way to get chicken from here because it was generally nice & consistent however, the chicken was pink in ALOT of places throughout all 6. Disappointing

came here for a Sunday dine-in lunch and the food was freshly made and delicious. restaurant is very clean and location is convenient with easy parking. service was great, shout out to especially the gentleman that served us and constantly ensured we had what we needed, sorry we forgot your name but upon dining, i asked for table water but was informed that this was not available so i ended up getting a bottle from the fridge and about to pay for it and he said not to worry about it and that it is on the house; it's not the matter of saving $2 but it's the little things like this that will get your customers coming back, thank you for your generous hospitality.
