A great experience! Top quality food and great value for money. Haloumi was sensational. The souvlaki and lamb were standouts. The zucchini chips left a little to be desired, but the normal chips were well seasoned and crispy. The 3 piece band took the night to a new level. The banter was great and they were interactive and engaging. Got a bottle of wine by the end of the night too! Would highly recommend!

Gathered here after seeing a play on a Sunday. This place is on St George's Road and traffic is busy. If no parks out front you can find parking in the streets nearby. The service and food here was exceptional. We were treated to complimentary warm flatbread with many choices of Greek dips - all tasty and fresh. We tried (failed) not to eat too much as we had ordered entrees and mains.The food was delicious. No-one in our group of 9 had any disappointment. The place lends itself to warm company & good meals with friends - just like a great Greek lunch experience back home I guess. We had baby octopus, calamari, lamb chops, moussaka - all cooked to perfection.This is BYO, our 2-course meals approx $70 per head.Highly recommend this friendly, welcoming place.

There's nothing like good old fashion friendliness to go with an amazing meal. GEORGE and his team welcomed my dad and our family with genuine warmth. He seems to put his customers satisfaction over just making money. How refreshing! I highly recommend this place not just for the delicious food, but also the lovely ambiance and joy of the people that run it which only adds to the fantastic experience.

Had my daughters 16th there, food was amazing, ordered banquet, heaps of food. Service was excellent and music was the best! We danced and had a fantastic nightThe band were fantastic! I love the extra touch of a couple of games the band played to engage with us all, super fun and entertainingWould of been 5 stars except for the fact that parking was a massive struggleAnd there was not much room for dancing (but we still managed)Apart from that the staff were absolutely beautiful and accommodatingI will be going back there soon!

Welcoming staff and nice atmosphere with live music. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of Beverley hills.The food here was amazing!! Starting off with the halloumi cheese, it was very soft and well seasoned and delicious.It was the first time I tried zucchini fries. This was so amazing the flavours on this were perfection. A MUST TRY!The moussaka was full of flavour, filling and very comforting.I'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes!

Great service from the moment we walked in. Friendly staff. Water instantly on our tables. We were left alone to peruse the menu and it felt like they knew it was time to talk to us. Got some recommendations from a lovely Greek lady (who admitted that her English wasn't fantastic but this added towards her charm). Everything she recommended was very tasteful.My recommendations, try the taramosalata and the warm pita bread, and, Kefalogravlera Saganaki. The calamari and BBQ octopus were exactly to my liking.I don't think you could find a bad meal at this place and I'm definitely returning to try more of their menu.

My family & I purchased Groupon vouchers twice, food was delicious & generous, friendly efficient staff both time's, definitely recommend Thaleia. Edit.....Unfortunately after going a third time, we found food to be mediocre, Greek salad wasn't fresh & portion size of meats were smaller for the bigger group we had this time. Service was still good, Hopefully they had were having a bad day in the kitchen that Chinese new year. No photos on our third visit.
