Had seen the reviews on local community pages and couldn’t wait to give Sams a try. I’ve frequented many west London curry houses and know my Indian food well.Service was very good - efficient and friendly. We ordered take away for 3.5 people. The butter chicken was nice however it was all that we ate out of $140 worth of food ordered. Naans were too hard, red meat (one beef dish and two lamb) was tough/chewy and quite fatty.Sadly, we won’t be ordering again.

We ordered takeaway curry. Quite sweet. I doubt it was authentic enough for indians to enjoy it. $15 for the curry with rice. I also 2 pieces of poppadums in a paper bag. If I fished out all the chicken out of the curry sauce, it might weigh about 150g at most. The curry tasted quite premix" to me

I've been here a few times now - once for dine in and twice for takeaway - and I'm always really impressed with the food. I'm a huge fan of the Peshwari Naan and I also love the wide range of Vegetarian and Vegan options available - The Yellow Dal Curry is stand out! Indian Takeaways can be pretty hit or miss for me but this one is definitely a hit.

Tonight we tried the butter chicken and garlic naan bread and it is absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous and the naan bread was sooo tasty with lots of flavour.Customer service amazing and Sam always loves a chat. My daughter says Big thumbs up dad"."

This place has a new owner in the last month or so and service is now terrible. In the last 5 times I've ordered here, every time iv been told 20 minute wait time, in actual fact its 45-60 mins. The staff just ignore you and barely offer any form of apology for wasting your time.The food here use to be the best in the area, now you just feel sick after eating it.Very disappointing, after coming here for years its sad to see it decline so much. I would NOT recommend this takeaway to anyone!!!

In my quest to find a decent Indian restaurant around Springfield I recently tried Sam’s.The staff were lovely and caring. The owner’s response to reviews on here shows they care, so if they read this, please don’t take my criticism on your food personally but work on taking the feedback to adapt.The order was a large butter chicken, medium heat, a rice (included), and two cheese and garlic naan.Curry: the curry was way too sweet, almost like watery red honey, this overpowered any chance I had of tasting the other flavours in the curry. The curry came in a standard depth rectangular takeaway container.Rice: when ordering we were told rice was included with a takeaway order, I confirmed the rice would be enough for the amount of curry. The rice we received was a small round container (pictured) which was enough for a one person serving. Ridiculous for a large curry.Naan: loads of garlic, which is fine although less would have been better. It is a thicker naan than most. My big complaint is the level of ghee, it was ridiculous. It dripped off the bread. The naan wasn’t folded either which meant the cheese mostly stuck to the aluminium foil when opened.

Ordered food for the first time 2 weeks ago and both the butter chicken and a spicy chicken that I ordered the gravy was sweet. Also the chicken Tikka had a funny smell and looks like its had been re-cooked. Had to throw away the entire Chicken Tikka. Won't try food from here ever again.
