I love this hairdresser, can't wait to come back!! Wish i had a pic of my hair, such great colours, been 8 months since and no one can see my regrowth. Really love it

They have the best hairdressers in Bass Coast and my hair colour and cut looks is perfect thanks to talented Ash. Everyone is so lovely and you feel very accepted and all the hairdressers are so wonderful. I already tell my friends about this place because it is so amazing.

At last I've found a great hairdresser; Zali listened to me and gave me the best cut, colour and foils that I've had in a long time! She's friendly and bright and bubbly and the atmosphere in the salon is warm and receptive - plus the prices are very reasonable (especially compared to the local competition).

I am beyond thrilled with what you ladies have done with my hair. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't remember the last time I have loved my hair this much. Incredible colour.

My review is from 2 years ago, I brought my son for his very first haircut here which they knew as I specifically mentioned this was the case, and asked to ensure they were able to assist with said first haircut.They told me that was fine, and booked us a time to come.We originally wanted the first haircut to only be the long fringe cut and the sides cut to blend it together.The hairdresser did this but it looked awful, reluctantly we agreed for a full hair cut.Which turned out even WORSE! Our son had uneven cut hair, 1 chunk of hair missing, instead of it being a fade style cut, it looked like a home style bowl/mushroom cut.Let alone we asked for a lock of his hair for a keep sake from his first haircut, and instead of neatly cutting a curl off she picked up a chunk of hair off the ground and handed it to me.To find out at the end the person who was cutting our son hair was a freaking trainee, who had NEVER cut a child's hair before and our son was her first attempt at cutting a child's hair.Keep in mind we weren't told this at the time of booking on the phone or even after we arrived, we assumed they would understand the importance of a first haircut and book in an appropriate stylist to match the situation.In the end I literally picked my son up and left bawling my eyes out while my partner paid for the monstrosity of the haircut.2 years on and its still raw for me, and all I can do is NEVER recommend anyone go there for a first haircut unless you are given a qualified hairdresser with proven experience of cutting childrens hair.

Absolutely amazing service from the ladies at Abstract Hair Studio. Walked in to the salon with a mixture of over-toned grey/yellow/brassy hair and the lovely Ellie worked miracles, leaving me with an awesome natural looking blonde. I can show my face in public again! Thank you!

I have tried so many hairdressers and am so glad that I have now made Abstract Hair studio my regular. The staff are so beautiful and helpful and I have always walked away feeling like what I have asked for I have received. They listen and try their best to deliver what I want and it is a good find. The studio is clean, inviting and professional and I recommend anyone living around the area of Wonthaggi to give them a go, you will not regret it.
