Royal Mail Hotel
Exactly what we expected of hotel accommodation. It was cheap, clean and comfortable. There are no TV in the room, no private ensuit, no kitchen. It is a pub. Good bar, pool table and nice pub meals. The meals were typical pub food. Nothing fancy, just good food at good value. To top it all off, the host was the nicest lady and would do anything to make the guests happy.

Popped in for a drink because of the links to the Kelly gang and was treated to an impromptu tour of the hotel, with the publican showing us exactly what the layout of the hotel was and what happened. She was very friendly and helpful.

Stopped in on our way home. The lady that served us was really friendly.She cooked our egg & bacon rolls almost instantly. The tea was nice, hot & lots of it.Will definately drop in again when we're passing through.

Best unexpected stop here. Our burgers were the best all fresh and tasty. The staff really friendly and had a good chat to a nice local bloke. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good old fashioned.aussie pub

Tes is the manager and she is amazing. She runs the place so well. Beer is good, food is excellent. I have had a few meals and can assure you the steak melts in your mouth. If there is any criticism at all it is the toilets. They are unisex. Didn't bother me but I can imagine a woman's take on it.

We were just passing through and decided to have a pub lunch at the Royal Mail Hotel. My meal was the chicken Kiev, something different, and I loved it. My wife's meal was the pork belly, it was too dry, but the owner was very apologetic after asking us about our meal.

Lovely friendly publican who made me feel very welcome. Good pub meal, my salmon was cooked perfectly. Accomodation is very reasonably priced, cheap even. It’s simple, low key and a bit rough around the edges. Shared bathroom and toilet facilities are run down but clean. Great history and stories to accompany your stay at this place which make it totally worth the visit.

23 - 24-01-22 -Stayed here after a 1300km motorbike ride from Sydney to Vic and return. We decided to stop for the night and came across this place. They offer accommodation at the pub and shared amenities.Great food and ice cold drinks friendly staff. Test the manger is a gemDo yourself a favour and stop in if ever you are I in the area or going past and support this place!Mark B4BD
