Poochies Parlour

First time with Poochies Parlour - The young girl cut our mixed breed terrier approx 2 weeks ago. We asked for a little Mohawk and the staff member nailed the ‘hair doo’ we wanted. Everyday we look at our Grace, we are still really happy with how they cut her. It’s the best cut she has had (she is 8)Also, Grace loved the attention she was given and how the free roaming centre is run.... Great job Poochies Parlour, highly recommend

Would not recommend going here for pet grooming. We had a terrible experience last Saturday, we booked an appointment for their wash and dry package ($30) and extra face tidy ($10). On the phone, the lady kept mis-pronouncing our pup's name as 'Louise' and referring to him as her despite correcting constantly that his name is 'Louis' pronounced 'L-o-u-e-e'. When we took him for the appointment, the lady at the counter was very unfriendly, we mentioned the wash and dry $30 package online and she said it starts 'from $30', when we asked if it will include wash, dry, brush she rudely interrupted and asked if we wanted him brushed as well? I said no that's fine if it's not in the package. For face tidy, all we asked was to tidy the eyes area and round up the moustache, the quote for this changed to $15, advertised full face tidy as $10 on website, no other area of the face was touched. So all in all we paid $45 for a wash and blow dry and just some clipping under the eye. A day later and my pup looks like he hasn't had any trim on the face at all. (Photo attached) We had a great experience at the Cairns City Poochies with very friendly staff. a great cut and service and would love to take him back there. Avoid the Earlville groomers.

Customer service is excellent. I had two dogs..one who did not play well with others and Poochies accommodated beautifully. Put us in before opening hours..great job everytime..to read the other comment of rude"..I disagree..matter of fact perhaps but always professional xxxx keep up the great work!!!"

Did an amazing job with my old Max. Was worried at first because of his age and him being unfamiliar with the place but I really had nothing to be worried about. Took great care and made him feel safe. Also the pricing was extremely reasonable considering what a big job it was. Maxxie is so happy. Thank you again.

Our experience has been wonderful with this Parlour. Our dog is 10 years old and blind she loves going there and the Lady has treated her very well over the years. Thanks so much Poochies!!!

Poor customer skills. My doggy hated being there and so did I.The haircut was good, but I cannot return to a place where the staff is rude and does not listen to the customer.The woman was also very rude to other staff and my dog.I will not return and I will not recommend it to anyone.

I have been taking my beloved furries to Jenny for many years.My babies have been well groomed and cared for .To Jenny and the staff at Poochies Earlville.....Well done and thank you.
