The line is always out the door. Some of the workers are super rude.

I went to renew my and my mother's passports today and the man (he has been working at the Leichhardt branch since I can remember) was so helpful and provided quick service. Thank you for making what we thought would be a long process fast and easy .

I'm constantly troubling this post office with parcels and the staff are excellent. There are two exceptional members, one being the woman who whilst filling the parcel lockers yesterday asked my name and then notified me I had more in the office and brought them out to me. that woman, sorry I didn't get your name! is amazing. thank you. And to the other guy who served me last wednesday at 7am is always fantastic! thank you! You are appreciated!

To the manager of Leichhardt post office,I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the treatment of myself during a visit to Leichhardt post office when lodging my son’s passport application.During an interaction with a medium build person of darker reflection, (I am brown skinned and from South American myself so this is in no way an attack on skin colour, as I understand that these days people become quite easily offended by anything to do with physical appearance and I apologise if you think that is so), I was sighed at by this employee not once but twice when I didn’t hear him straight away. He was asking me to cross out something on my son’s passport application and I was having trouble hearing him ad the post office was busy. I will admit, I reacted to the situation and didn’t respond, so to this I understand my wrong doing in the situation. However, I did say straight away, “please do not be impatient with me”, (yes, I said please), to this statement I made, the man behind the counter went from zero to hundred in a matter of seconds and immediately raised his voice and started defending the situation, by first stating in a loud and rude manner, “I’m being inpatient with you?”, I attempted to diffuse the situation multiple times and even said, “I can’t handle this right now”, and said “can we please just fill in the application form and forget it”, to which he kept raising his voice and said, “I’m refusing service and walked away. I can understand him refusing service if I was continually rude and disrespectful but I was not. I realised my reaction straight away and he wouldn’t let it go.This interaction has made me extremely upset and I am asking for a formal apology from this man and I DO expect a response from the manager and said employee at this place of business.I DO know the name of this man, however I am aware you are not allowed to directly name people when leaving a review.I am not angry, I just do not think it is fair for a person in customer service to treat someone like that and get away Scott free.I have clearly stated both his and my wrong doings and I expect him to do the same.I will formally be phone calling the post office as well and inform them of this review.Regards,Benita Pitt

I went here twice to try to apply for a passport and was sent away as apparently I either filled out the document wrong or didn’t have the right documents. The Australian passport hotline confirmed all my documents are in order! Clearly they don’t know what they are doing in this post office - save yourself some time and go somewhere else!

Not very helpful with a cool face

Annandale Post Office is 1st place on zero customer.service. Leichhardt fortunately fairs better and it appears Australia Post does nothing to improve its customer service experience at post offices.

Recently on Friday 22nd November and earlier this week, the queues at the Leichhardt post office were running outside the main entrance door. Over 45 minutes wait time at 3.45pm. This slow service is not acceptable for many regular customers, especially the elderly and pregnant ladies. We are trying to be patient though. The young guy there wouldn't give me the phone I ordered as my Queensland license wasn't good enough I'd,disgusting.every other employee up there is great,really helpful.He is a very rude,obnoxious and a power tripper.Hes the reason for the 2 stars,I could go on about other transitions but everyone else will tell u if u continue to read the reviews
