Dirty room with bugsI dont know what the owner and cleaning staff are thinking when they allow a room to be sold in this state - obviously from other reviews they are happy running a filthy motelI also hope that they appreciate their wonderful bar staff who had to deal with the situation on arrivalWhen they saw that there were bugs running around in the bed - mouse poo on the pillows - toothpaste in the sink - dirty surfaces and grime they were apologetic and tried to relocate us without luck unfortunately - while we went to have dinner the lovely young lady cleaned the room for us - they also refunded our full rate which was appreciated and necessaryDo not stay here !!!

Room was below expectations for the price. Most lights in the room did not work however there were enough to go to bed by. Bathroom although clean left a lot to be desired: vanity basin had been replaced but not the tiles/painting around it: barely enough room between the vanity basin and the sliding door: toilet paper dispenser broken and taped up with sticky tape: toilet paper roll sitting in a shelf; a $5 toilet roll holder and 5 minutes labour could have solved this. Shower was hot and strong- pretty much the only redeeming feature in the bathroom. Although the carpet in the room had been vacuumed god knows how long since being shampooed. Bed was comfortable

No unable to rate this place at all room not very clean carpet filthy no hot water for shower bed ok felt as though i needed to wipe my shoes on the way out pub meal very poor $42.50 steak old and tough not cooked to my liking sent it back came back the same worth maybe $25.00 we will definitely not be staying there again

Do bad first. Microwave dirty. Water in sink wouldn't run away. Cleaners should have noticed it as presumably that's where they get their water from. when cleaning. Sheets and towels scrupulously clean. Bed very comfy. Shower great. Very, very good price.

Check in person needs to be taught people skills. Fire in the bar a nice touch. Bar staff helpful and friendly.Meal was pub quality. Wecould not get the air-con to keep working. The carpet in room was dirty and room had a strange smell. Would not stay again however Okay for 2 stars.

If they invest a bit on changing the carpet and overall cleaning it's a very cosy place to stay. Also the guys at the bar need to learn a little bit of hospitality. Not that they were rude or anything , just too blunt.

I would usually call and advise of issues but reading all the previous comments/reviews looks like the owners don't care anyway. Room had a bad smell when we arrived only to find out later it was a dead mouse rotting on the floor that had not been cleaned for days. Late arrival for an overnight stay with children was not worth moving to another room.Light switch are coming away from wall and pose a very serious electrical shock.Lighting is terrible.AC would not work, even after staff came to get it working..All of us were sneezing from the dust and just wanted to leave as soon as we woke up.The owners and cleaners obviously could not care at all and I would strongly advise not staying here.Have no idea why this place is still open, such a bad rep for the town.

It had everything we needed for a one night stay. Was very cheap, but far from fancy.

Spend the extra bit of money and go elsewhere, overpriced. Stayed there a few nights ago, was the cheapest available on accommodation site. Obvious issues – security door with no lock, cobwebs in ceiling corner, dead flies on window ledge, toilet paper dispenser (for flat paper of which there was none provided, only round rolls which wouldn’t operate in it), strands of hair on wall near toilet, traces of soap still in shower soap holder, room in desperate need of upgrade and no internet still (previous complaint 4 days earlier?????) The biggest concern was an empty smoke alarm bracket on the ceiling (smoke alarm found in a drawer unusable) which highlights the duty of care management have for users of the rooms.

Arrived to be advised we didn’t have a booking. Told they had been booked out for the night. I advised I had booked over a week ago and had confirmation. Oh finally found my booking. Got to our room and turned heating in but after 2 hours the room was still cold. Dirty towels still hanging behind bathroom door. Carpet stains everywhere. Spoke to staff and they advised that the compressor in the air con had broken and they moved us to another room. By this time it was 8:30 at night.The room we moved to was dirty and cobwebs everywhere. But it was warm!I definitely would not recommend staying here. The place needs a bloody good clean up.
