What an unexpected surprise to find such lovely food at the old Glenroy bowls club! We were recommended to come here for tasty food, and were not disappointed. Servings are generous and tasty, and the owner is delightful, and is enthusiastic to provide friendly service and delicious food. We will come back!

Amazing food, well priced, quiet atmosphere, owner quite attentive! We had spring rolls, rice paper rolls, Pho, Singapore Noodles and Beef Stir Fry and everything was good! It didn’t disappoint! Nothing fancy if that is what you are looking for, but if your goal is the food flavour then you should give this a crack.

Lovely little place, friendly owner and good service. Food was great and came out on time. Overall a great experience. In particular we enjoyed the mango smoothies. We got some entrees and drinks which inflated our spend slightly, but it was still only 25-30 per person, which is excellent value.

The service is 10/10 I feel very welcomed when dining it, the pho is yummy and beefy it tastes authentic that’s the main reason I eat Vietnamese cuisine and finding one that hits the spot is always a good time.

Glenroy Star Restaurant is Glenroy's hidden gem for a warm winter food.We ordered wonton soup, rice paper roll and beef phos.Usually most restaurants have a lousy wonton soup that is either tasteless or full on MSG. The flavour here is balanced and flavourful.The real highlight of this place here is the beef pho. The beef meat is very tender and the soup is really delicious!The owner is very friendly and service is very good. The atmosphere of the place is also good. Don't expect a fine dining atmosphere here, but this place has a charm and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.The food is also well priced and for the quality of the food this is amazing!I highly recommend this place and especially with Melbourne's wintery weather, this is a place I'll be visiting often.
