Anya is fantastic, the quality of the Finesse teams work is excellent, I highly recommend them!

I needed to get measured and had been referred to go here. I had been to several other shops requesting the same service with no luck, so the fact she did it is kind of the only thing that makes this a 3 instead of 2. I get measured in less than 10 minutes, quick and easy. I told her which measurements I needed, and how I needed them measured. No price was mentioned, so I thought cool maybe it’ll be free or no more than $15. But to the complete surprise to me she charged me $35, now I know I might get a nasty response just like any other critical review. However, this charge is really bothering me, as in my mind there is just no way to justify it, and sure its my fault for not asking beforehand, but how many places tell you the price after you’ve gone through with the service. This service required nothing more than her time. All I can say is if you’re alright being charged $35 for ~10min of her time go ahead and use this place, as it seems they do good professional work. If I had known this was that much of a hassle for her, I would’ve just bought a tape measure for myself and had my mate do it for me.

I have had several garments altered by Anya. She is so helpful and her work is amazing. She was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend Anya for any alterations you need. I have been extremely happy with all of my clothes that have been altered and at a very reasonable cost.

I had a pair of jean altered, taken in at the waist and length off the bottom. I was treated very well and my jeans where altered in just a few days. Definitely will be my new go to for alterations.

I came to the Finesse studio at Main Beach on an emergency mission. A hole had been burned into the bride’s vintage veil, on loan from her mother-in-law, and the wedding was only 4 hours away! The team at Finesse were absolutely amazing. They repaired the veil in under two hours and did it flawlessly. I repeat: flawlessly. They cut away the burned section and re-hemmed the decorative edging by hand. They even replaced the crystals along the hemline, saved from the damaged section. It was a wedding day miracle. They charged me an emergency fee that was very reasonable, given that they dropped everything for two hours in order to get the job done. Kind, efficient and technically expert, they are the smart move for bridal alterations.

My experience with Finesse Alterations in main beach was a 10/10 !!I had my fitting with Nina & I have to say from the moment I walked in I was treated so well & then I met Nina and WOW !!!This woman is a Wedding Dress Magician (literally) and nothing was too hard or seemed to phase her. I was only 5 weeks out from my wedding!!I had a big job done on my dress, it was taken up, taken in, the straps were taken off and new ones made, but the icing on the cake was when Nina said she would unpick all the beautiful lace detailing on my dress and move it up so when she took it up I wouldn’t lose all the detail on the dress - what a professional !!!!If you want a great job done with your wedding dress I wouldn’t recommend anyone else !!! She did it in less than 2 weeks & even had me in for another fitting & when something wasn’t sitting right she fixed it then and there on the spot to make it perfect …… it was stunning !!!!Honestly I felt amazing on my big day & just love the women here !!!! Thank you for taking such great care of me !!!

Amazing job altering my wedding dress! Amanda was really friendly, positive and fast-working. I loved the final result and definitely recommend them if you need an alteration done.
