Set in 100 acres, peaceful, welcoming friendly dogs, fresh farm eggs

This cabin accommodation is on a farm outside Temora and as such was quiet and peaceful. The main room had ample space with a comfortable lounge and a dining table with 4 chairs. A full sized stove, microwave and of course a fridge were provided, but is was the extras that were noticeable different from lots of other accommodation places. Fresh eggs and a loaf of bread, plus a bowl of tasty chocolates were the unexpected. The price included breakfast and there was plenty of the normal fare.The rooms were very clean and it was very good value for money indeed.The main bedroom was very tight, but the bed comfortable. A blind or fitting did make a noise when the wind blew. The bathroom was small but shower in it quite a decent size and there was a separate toilet, although very small.There was no WiFi available which was not unexpected as it was 5-6 k out of town.

There is only one reason why you would not stay at Kames Cottages on your next visit to Temora and that is - they are booked out. Otherwise this is THE place to stay. We arrived to find the cabin stocked as though we were loved family members rather than first time guests. The hosts are friendly, the dogs are friendly and the location is ideal for a quiet get away. The comfy cabin has all facilities and the rural view from the deck just says sit and relax. Quiet relaxing cabin accommodation with pool BBQ and cooking facilities. Lovely helpful hosts.

We had a wonderful stay with our friendly hosts Sue and Don. Very affordable and we were happily surprised at the amount of food in the cabin for us. Farm eggs, chocolates, real milk and a fresh loaf of bread. Immediate comfort on arrival, which include the cabin being pre-warmed for us. A wet wintery stay for us and our two dogs which was warm and comfortable. We will repeat the experience. Thank you.

Kames Cottage is a beautiful place closer to Temora town with all amenities in a peaceful location.

We arrived, and were pleasantly surprised. This place is a wonder. We really liked the cottage. It was well stocked with food, but the garden and grounds are great. Would recommend.
