Great selection of sweet and savoury treats. Tea, Coffee and soft drinks available.Very good location, with lots of parking available.The staff are excellent and the facilities are amazing.

Having just returned from a visit to New Zealand, It's evident how the Australian country bakeries are just lacking the finishing polish.All the baked goods, pies, lamingtons, just fall well below short in awe.

We enjoyed the vibes in here and friendly staff members. We had sweet pies and cakes. For me, the cream is fresh but overall they were too sweet. Highly recommend to lessen the level of sugar if someone need sweeter can add powdery sugar etc. Lovely to been here

Good coffee, great food and a nice place to sit and have something to eat. The only down is the kids playground which creates excited and screaming kids which makes it more than just noisy. However, youngsters still need to be with their parents and be able to enjoy outings too, so still a good place to enjoy a coffee and cake, just not 5 star.

Worst sausage roll I have had anywhere in Australia.The pastry was chewy, the filling soggy and soft and the whole thing was flat like it had been squashed...never again!I couldn't eat it but paid 70c extra to buy a real sausage roll (photo on right) at the local farmers market....what a sausage roll should be!

For some reason Ballarat has stopped using crockery - manger tells me it is too hard to keep place clean this time of year. Hire someone, it's not like you're giving stuff away... At these prices you'd be best served by making people comfortable and eating off a piece of cardboard doesn't do it for me.

Beechworth not worth a visit. It's filthy cafe, the started using disposal plate and even those are not removed timely from the table. Do you expect the customer to clean for you? It will not take more than 10 minutes to clear this. It's just an ordinary cafe nothing great about the menu served here. The are better cafe in Ballarat. Avoid this place! Tourist trap

I used to live in the area and I would come here frequently, I forgot how packed it can get in here, we were up here because I needed a procedure at SJOG hospital, and after it all I wanted was a sausage roll.We also got German donuts, which were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

The cream lamington, jelly slice and Bavarian cream ring were yummy. My kids like it as for me, I don't like very sweet dessert, but turned out the custard in the cream ring is just nice. The atmosphere was relaxing. Will definitely come here again for breakfast if time permits.
