Martin was great. Patient, calm and provided clear guidance to the learner driver. The years of experience was evident. We’ll have another one coming your way this year.

I have known Martin for many years and it's very sad how individuals can bad mouth a well respected Driving Instructor and who runs a very professional Driving School. I like Martin have been in the Driver Training Industry for years. I encourage parent's who want a professional Instructor is to book in with Martin , and ignore the rude, and disrespectful comments.

I had lessons with Martin who I initially contacted for a Keys2Drive lesson. He was always very calm, patient, gives clear explanations, competitive pricing, and with his help I passed the VORT on my first go. Thanks Martin!

I contacted Mitcham Driving School to learn how to drive a manual, and they are one of the few places which offer manual driving lessons. I have had my full license for a couple of years, but recently bought a manual, which I quickly discovered was much more nuanced than driving an automatic.I had Daniel as my instructor who was brilliant. He explained all the details of driving a manual, from the clutch, to driving generally, to hill starts, and everything in between. He's a calm and patient instructor, and after 1 lesson I was able to drive a manual.

As a driving instructor from another state(Vic) who has also taught in NSW and is now living in SA I was fortunate to have Martin very graciously take me through what is actually required to get my certification recognised here,( I sent out a lot of my resumes to driving schools via email).Although I offered to pay him for his time -he refused(although I'll be booking a paid 2 hour lesson with him) SA road rules and testing conditions are vastly different from Vic. and NSW.I love teaching,am the author of several books and numerous articles on safe driving and have been instructing for 8 years and I learnt some new tips and ideas today!Martins teaching style was that he was able to clearly and concisely articulate what the differences where here and what I would have to do to get my accreditation recognised in this state.OH and I have to resit the whole driving test before my accreditation is in a manual (and I teach auto only!) so I'll be going through exactly what a new student will have to go through to pass their test.He is an excellent instructor and that's coming from someone whose students think the same.Kim MartinOwner Fit2drive School Victoria

Being accused of speeding during a VORT when sitting in the passenger seat, you can't even see the speed I'm doing. Did ask the instructor how he knew I was speeding, the answer from 'Bob' was, I could tell that you were speeding because of how you were accelerating down Brighton rd. despite no camera evidence or even any evidence except word of mouth. Now

My Brother was just failed for a second time with his VORT test without being given clear and concise reason as to why he had been failed. I looked at the VORT test sheet, and could not decipher the comments or reasons as to why he had been failed. My concern is that this driving school is failing students/being overly critical, to boost their bottom line.I have been taking my brother driving for the last six months, and he is a lot more competent than half the other drivers out there.

I had Martin as my instructor. I started off as a very nervous and anxious driver. It was due to my anxiety that it had taken me till I was 23 to get my licence. I had about 20 lessons in total and I am so thankful for Martin. He was patient, explained all my questions and just helped me become the careful and confident driver I am today. He was very reasonably priced and was very upfront about all the costs and what was expected of him when it came to the tests. I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn manual and is a nervous or unsure. Thanks Martin!

Dear Will, I acknowledge your review and while we appreciate feedback from clients I can’t accept the content of your post. You mention the examiner was Bob and that his receptionist was Diane. Mitcham Driving School does not have and has never had an examiner called Bob, nor a receptionist called Diane. I can only presume that you have targeted the wrong driving school and would appreciate it if you would check your facts before posting such vitriol.I have enquired with the people you have mentioned in your post and they do not recognise your name. I presume it is a pseudonym, which is very sly.Your closing comment was “If you are professional enough to reply to me, then do it with a good reason or, the entire Adelaide community will understand how you make a living everyday.”If you had a shred of decency you would identify yourself rather than hide behind the cloak of anonymity, thus making it difficult for me to investigate your concerns in a professional manner.I invite you to call Mitcham Driving School and I will be pleased to discuss this matter with you. Furthermore, if you can prove beyond doubt that it was Mitcham Driving School that you believe scammed you, then I will happily compensate you the cost of your failed vort.

They did my son's training, said he was ready for his test, then failed him, twice! Wanted him to sign up for more lessons!!! If you can't train him properly the first time, why persist? He accrued his log book hours with numerous people, two of whom are serving police officers; all are happy he drives well and should easily pass the VORT. I checked with a few other driving schools in Adelaide, apparently they have a reputation in the industry for doing this. As a previous reviewer said, revenue generating". Avoid this school."
