TJM Alice Springs

I rocked up at TJM Alice Springs with an intermittent light fault with my caravan trailer plug… Steve fitted a new one on the spot in 20 minutes, sold me some towing mirrors and other gear. Great service, great guys… thanks TJM Alice Springs!

Had some issues with the set up and use of a Garmin GPS system. I still think the manual is missing some vital information but Jordan took the time to sit me down and run through it step by step. Thanks mate.

Worst customer service I have experienced. I bought a faulty solar blanket there, It was not giving the amp readings stated by a long shot. I took the blanket back and before I was able to explain the fault I was told 'you must have another problem'! From the get go I found the customer service to be agressive and intimidating, An unqualified test was made by the particular salesman, the actual problem I expalined the blanket had, was compleatly skirted around, presumably due to his lack of understanding around solar, and he insisted that it was my own equipment that was faulty! The salesman remained adamantly right in that there was nothing wrong with the blanket, and thus they would do absolutly nothing about it.I contacted Hardcore, by whom the blanket was made, who were much more professional in their approach. The blanket has been found to be faulty and has been replaced.I would not shop again at TJM

Coming off the Outback Way recently into Alice Springs I contacted TJM as I had concerns about my lopsided Lovells suspension after the 1000 kms of unsealed road and corrugations.The ‘Steve’ I spoke with was dismissive of my concerns, said “ too busy” , “booked out for 3 weeks” and “doesn’t do slide ons”… he didn’t ask me one question and clearly had no empathy for this traveller from another state who simply wanted someone to have a look to reassure …or book in to correct if a problem.Fortunately the Lovells specialist in Berrimah (Darwin) was far more accommodating!

Very helpful advice - rather than selling us something that wouldn’t meet our need they told us why it wouldn’t be suitable. Very impressed with their honesty.
