Nice atmosphere in an Old Garage, pretty cool. Staff were friendly and attentive. Funguy" toastie was delicious and had the perfect amount of filling with a sourdough bread crunch. Bircher Muesli was ok. Coffee was slightly too milky but good enough."

Great cafe in Glen Iris road. Friendly, welcoming staff & reasonable prices. Plenty of street parking available. This place is pet friendly. So you can enjoy your meal with fur friends. Food is great and very filling. There a beautiful wall art, perfect spot for pictures. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely visit again.

Acai bowl on a hot day seemed appropriate, but it wasn't particularly cold. Taste was good though. Everyone else's meals looked delish, and love that doggos are welcome

Wonder place for breaky or brunch! Delicious food and good coffee, the smoothies and the fresh juices are great selection... Very friendly and polite staff as well. Thank you for the great experience and definitely will see you soon!!!

The atmosphere was interesting because if you felt like being left alone you would be, the staff are considerate but not encumbering. This is an out of the way local, it has a certain charm to it, it does not feel like some sleepy retirement village type of scrambled eggs and bacon with your coffee" type of joint. Take a date here in the early hours of the evening before your night out. Although this photo is of a pea soup paired with crispy ham

I was promptly served by the friendly and courteous staff for a take away coffee. The atmosphere seems to be warm and inviting, especially on a cold and wet day in Melbourne. But charging $4.50 for a take away coffee for what I regard as a small serve is overpriced. Can't justify that price hike.May return to try the food when I pass through the area again.

If you are looking for a vegan restaurant that offers a unique and creative menu then The Old Garage is the place for you.We were greeted warmly and seated in a modern and cosy space, the exposed brick lifts the interior and the decor is beautiful. A great menu that will be sure to grab your attention, the food and cocktails tasty and vibrant. Thanks for having us, we had a fab time!

Lovely renovation and vibes at the Old Garage cafe. Small outdoor area for a place that is dog friendly but was told they are renovating a larger outdoor area in the back that will be available in a months time. The chicken burger was on point, so crunchy with slaw and was so saucy. Chilli chips also had a great subtle hit of heat and staff were happy to get sauce on the side when asked but might be worth already adding it to the dish. Friends got the mac and cheese and I stole a few bites and it looks amazing but the taste was lacking in flavour. The club sandwich looked great but not traditional as it didn’t have three slices of bread. Overall nice environment for lunch with a few bumps in the road to overcome.
