Pagoda Chinese Restaurant
The food quality and quantity was impressive. I can’t remember the last time I was so impressed by my meal. It’s getting harder and harder these days, but this restaurant gave me a huge amount of food on my plate, and it was so delicious. The hot sour soup had huge pieces of meat swimming in it and my wife kept stealing it because it had amazing depth and tang.This is a great place to visit for good food presented by nice people.

6 adults plus 3 kiddies well met at a large round table. Brought our own wine which incurred corkage fee of course. 9 course meal. Plenty of room even on a Saturday evening. Timely polite efficient service. Very well fed.

Just ordered through Uber eats...never again! $19.50 for satay chicken that was dripping in oil and was inedible. I poured off maybe 50% of the oil in the dish. Just awful! Waste of money. I don’t know if this was an accident? Maybe the cooked dropped a bottle of oil in by mistake or how this is normally prepared but yuck.

First time eating in, many times eating their food. Foods good! ... slightly lacking in variety for vegetarian dishes though. I do love the Ginger broccoli dish. ... the menu didn't even offer a vegetarian version of Fried rice!... I realise I could ask for this to be specifically made, but it is nice to just order things straight from the menu. A privilege carnivores take for granted!

Really a 4 and a half. Food, service and staff all good but make these suggestions... If you Pre-book for 6, set the round table for 6 with 6 chairs not 8 and why charge 50cents for a doggie bag container? Also the prices received in the booking confirmation are cheaper than actuals.

Absolutely one of the best Chinese restaurants we've been to in Adelaide. Don't expect fine dining and beautiful presentation but this was by far the tastiest and best value for money Chinese food in Adelaide. Banquet was $30 each and included so much food we had to take it home. The absolute star was the satay skewers - I've never had so much sweet and spicy peanut sauce piled onto my starter before and I loved it! Look at my photos!

Great place. Harks back to the old days when you could get “traditional” Chinese food for very little. Décor that hasn’t been changed in 40 years just adds to the atmosphere.

The restaurant has great reviews and I was looking forward to it. When I walked into the restaurant it was lovely and staff were so nice. I had the Mongolian lamb and it was foul. WAY TOO SWEET! Also the fried rice was over cooked. I know they've got great reviews but it wasn't great. Especially when you spend to much money. I was here yesterday and I'm not sure if people loved it because they just try and make it so westernised for people who can't handle eastern flavour but I didn't even finish my meal. I also ordered spring rolls and they weren't cooked properly. I will try again later but don't have high hopes.
