What a fantastic cake! The staff were wonderful and spent time to accommodate my needs and went above and beyond to produce a cake within a few hours! The cake looked magnificent and tasted perfect. We had it for my partners birthday and all 6 of us totally loved it! The sponge was light, the chocolate was delicious and raspberries & chocolate covered strawberries finished it off perfectly. Thank you to all at the bakery - you guys are amazing.

Had a beautiful cake made last minute by the talented Baker of Bakers Knot Bakery he had less than a day to bake this and it was stunning and personalised. The baker went above and beyond and his kindness was unmatchable. I would recommend this baker and his bakery to everyone for all their bakery needs.

I am away from home staying in an holiday apartment and committed to providing desserts for a friends casual pizza night for fourteen people before I found out that next day is a public holiday . The next morning at 11:00 we venture out and sure enough most shops are closed but the bakery on Abbot Street , Cairns is open .I had a conversation explaining my predicament to the amiable baker who offered all sorts of options including other businesses like IGA , Night Owl before volunteering to bake two apple strudels by 16:00 . He duly performed and they were ready as promised .He truly went above and beyond not only did he produce them on time but they were magnificent, really really nice .He is a credit to his trade/art , to hospitality and to the region as a whole in terms of earning tourism good will points .

Don’t wast your time looking around. We looked for the best baker in cairns to get a birthday cake for our son and we found it. The quality and helpfulness of this shop can not be understated. A big thanks to the staff, they were awesome. My son recons its the best cake he has ever had. Thank you so much for going out of your way to make sure we had it in time when you had no time. Highly recommend.

Apologies for the overdue review.Big thanks to Scott who assisted with my little one’s birthday cake in April. We will never forget the incredible cake and your dedication to making the day so fun on her special day. And while injured, I still appreciate it so much.Really grateful for all you did to bring some magic to my children’s visit. We are looking forward to coming back next time we visit!Highly recommended, so glad I found Bakers Knot.

We ordered a 60th birthday cake - a double sponge with beautiful fresh cream and jam and strawberries. The sponge was absolutely delicious and the top of the cake set it off completely. Highly recommend Bakers Knot. Great value.
