Australian Passport Office

I messed up and needed a renewed passport urgently. My chances of making my flight were slim, but the passport team pulled a rabbit out of their hat and got me my daughter's passport in time for our trip to Malaysia. Thank you Owen and his supervisor for going above and beyond and staying around to make it happen.

Picking up the Passport was straightforward and was at a separate Pop-Up location. Staff were not on-sight or ready by 8:30 am. They started actually working by about 8:37 am.I feel for anyone, like myself, who had a Passport issued with an error and had to deal with unempathetic employees. When crying to myself, I was told, There's no point being upset here" "Stop being so pushy

Staff have patience. Deborah was very helpful. Please request clearly to the staff members how they can help you. I choose the priority option to renew my passport, and collect from Passport office at the post office. The priority promises - RETURN IN 48 HOURS. Fingers crossed it will be back by Wednesday.

Applied for a priority passport using Australia Post Elizabeth St Melbourne and received email for Collection in Docklands at 9am the next day collection took less than 2 minutes extremely good service !

The advice I received on the phone was drastically different to what was expected in person. I was told to fill out a different declaration to what was stated in person, I was told I qualified for a particular passport, and I was ‘unable to provide sufficient information’ in the declaration despite it being auto generated by the application form. I recommend calling twice to ensure that correct information is given to you.

I was turned away by an airline due to water damage of my biodata page on passport. This was on a Sunday so the office was closed and I couldn't book an appointment. Before going in I prepared all my identity documents including passport photo and printed a filled in passport application form. The office opens 8.30am but I went in about 45 minutes early to be first in queue, others had 8.30 appointments. An officer in Enquiries assisted me with my application and was very lovely and helpful. May have been my preparation or luck but I waited around the area and was able to collect passport in 3 hours then book a late afternoon flight! So be prepared and everything should be okay. Thanks so much to the lovely staff from security to passport officers!

Emergency passport took less than 24 hours, everyone I spoke to was great, very very impressed. Thank-you!

A close family member passed away suddenly after I have lodged passport application the day before. Ally, Sonya and Laura gone over and beyond to help and managed to hand over me the passport at 8pm Friday. Managed to catch a flight a few hours later to meet family overseas. I couldn’t thank them enough. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
