Awesome place to learn the art of bjj. Best coaches focusing on the important points, Amazing customer service, great family environment, I could not recommend anyone better than this group. I enjoy every lesson and leave having learnt something new each time. Definitely recommend going to see these guys to get you right the right way!

Beautiful and clean space!Woah from the moment you walk in you are met with an aesthetically pleasing martial arts space.The gym mats are super soft (more softer than your usual jigsaw mats).Lockers, water bubbler and toilets are all available for your use.Professor Fabio and coach Cass taught a great class going into the fundamentals of jiu jitsu.Great addition to the cooly area!

SJJA is a great academy!! As a female it can be intimidating joining a male dominant sport, but at SJJA I feel comfortable and supported by the wonderful team and our Professor, Fabio. It’s clear that each students journey and progress is important to the Coaches and I am glad to be apart of the team!

My 5 YO son did a trial session at SSJA Coolangatta before their grand opening, my partner and I were more than impressed with the 3-5 YO class Fabio taught and Will was instantly hooked and now looks forward to training every available class.Easy decision for us to both join and start our new adventure together with SJJA!The classes focus on fundamentals and aspects of BJJ that professor Fabio explains and demonstrates like an absolute professional.Fabio and Bella have created an amazing space where not only can you learn all aspects of BJJ, but also grab a coffee, cold drink, smoothie or try what ever amazing baking has been done that morning.So stoked to be a part of this team that feels more like a family. Good vibes and great people, super excited for the journey ahead!Definitely recommend coming for a trial
