Cooroy Library

Makerspace here is brilliant and under utilised.Do yourself a favour, go down, do the induction and sign up.You can then 3d print, see, use be etc. FOR FREE.

The library has very nice facilities, I personally use it as a study area as there a quite a few desks scattered around with powerpoints available, there are some very outdoor seating areas and quite a good selection of books DVDs and audiobooks available. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there computers located around d the library for public use.

I was amazed how lovely the library is .has windows looking out lots of Internet moderate portions of books

Great facility and great staff!The only gripe I have as a regular at the library is the level of noise from children running around yelling not being supervised by their parents!Maybe the library staff can keep in mind that other library users are there to work quietly without being disturbed or having there time impacted regularly by unsupervised young children running around yelling!!!!How times have changed, I was always under the impression that libraries were a quiet place.

Always a pleasure to visit this library, lovely outdoor hide away to relax with a book or snack. Nice airy and open space, friendly staff and brilliant resources. A variety or workshops and activities for all age groups.

This library is like a mini-MONA with the layered architecture and green roofed level. Very special. What a fabulous local public resource. Worth a visit if you are in town or passing through.

Fantastic, helpful and friendly staff. Modern, open, versatile, light-filled space. With view of garden. Can see Lizards and Goanas in there some days. Good collection of resources: digital and analog (books) However the acoustics and function zoning is problematic. Sound from the maker studio, children's zone and retail space travels, almost amplifies, throughout the building. While this is nice atmosphere for some. Vibrant and fresh. Its a nightmare for people trying to read, relax or concentrate. Isnt this the primary function of the building? Better clustering of functions and insulation could have solved this problem. But overall a terrific asset for Cooroy. Must've gone in on a loud day.

Really enjoyed our visit to see the award winning design of this small regional public library. External design very pleasing as it fits into the previous industrial landscape and internally has sufficient spaces set aside for quiet reading, discussion, using technology and so on. Plus a visually pleasing link from the inside to the 'green' space outside.

This is a beautiful and light space with a warm inviting atmosphere. Great books and helpful people. I love the beautiful selection of fine art and craft gifts in the little shop also located within the building.
