The Good : the food is good and big. Quick service and nice fit outThe Bad : the service sucks sometimes Rude and fast on some occasions and very polite on others . Wouldn't hurt to smile more consistently . That's why all the 1 star ratings on here, but worth visiting

Very disappointed with the quality of one of our dishes and the service on 8th November 2020. Had eaten here over 10 times and had been previously very happy with the food.Today, I ordered the usual order of Pad Se Ew with beef (I order this EVERY SINGLE TIME) and it was much saltier than the previous orders. I needed to drink water after 2-3 bites.When I notified the staff, they said it was normal" and that the Chinese people eat it like this. Apparently another table was served the same dish and said it was OK but I am Chinese too and we don't eat it like this. It was much saltier than previous times I had it at this restaurant. I tasted another dish served today at our table and it tasted fine

Take away orders are always very liquidy, i.e. more water and sauce than meat and veg. It is also very pricy for what you get.Although this is our local, we now go a little further to get value in our thai food.

GAT RESTAURANT, KELLIVLLE is the WORST RESTAURANT! This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered at a Thai restaurant. I’ve ordered here many times because of the close proximity to my house. Today, 11 Feb 2023, I called them to order green curry with duck.. they refused to make it for me at first because they “only serve red curry with duck” although I’ve ordered green curry with duck several times there. Eventually, they agreed to do it for me with an additional $4 charge which I was fine with. I told them I wanted it a little spicy. Upon arriving home with the food, although it smelled like it, it didn’t look like green curry because it was red/orange in colour and upon tasting it, I burned my tongue and mouth from all the spice.For someone who loves spice and can take spice very well, I couldn’t believe how insanely spicy this food was. I immediately called them to advise and after speaking to 3 different ladies because of language barrier, they told me that they had used chilli powder instead of fresh chillies, hence the spicyness. I guess that also explains the red/orange colour. I asked if I could return it and they blatantly refused and told me they couldn’t do anything about it. I told them how often I order from them but they still refused and said nothing could be done about it before the lady rudely hanged up on me. I’m still in shocked from this whole ordeal. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AGAIN REGARDLESS OF THE CLOSE PROXIMITY TO MY HOUSE! Disgusting service!

Hadn't gone back in years as they insisted a dish i had ordered continuously over the years was supposed to taste like that. So gave them another go after 6yrs and found it to be good once again along with price and quantity of the take away portions.

Good Thai food and quick service. I usually order take out from this place and it doesn't disappoint. You do need to make an account to order food but the websites easy to navigate. The Nassaman Curry and Pad Thai are definitely a must try!
