Amazing spot, short hike with huge payoff views, we drove all the way from the Gold Coast, and it was a spectacular end destination. A beautiful national park, big trees and plenty of wild life.The hikes themselves are short and steep but because the landscape is so flat around the park you can see for miles all around.

My expectations were blown away by this granite rock and its surroundings , great walking tracks , well posted for guides kn where to go .. highly recommend this on anybody journey and will be back to do some camping and stay longer than a few hrs .....

Up there with the best views in Australia, we had the entire mountain to ourselves on a weekday afternoon and watched the sun set from the summit. 45° incline to get to the top, but no more than 3km return from car to summit. Very worth the steep walk.

Great walk. The side track going up is shady and gives you the time to see the flowers.

An incredible sight, well worth the visit. The drive alone is fun (Mount Lindesay Road is epic across its entire considerable length) but even if it wasn't, this is a must see destination and walk up to the summit.

Absolutely amazing views if you can make it to the top. Not for the faint hearted, treacherous climb but so worth it for the views. Allow plenty of time.

What an awe-inspiring little hike; I totally loved this! You can be bold and brave and head straight up the rock face or you can take the gentle route to the Summit via the Bungoona track. Either way the views are simply stunning. About 3km in total. Truly, it's nature at her best. Easily accessible via the New England Highway and ample parking with toilets and picnic facilities.

Great place for a quickish bush walk. Very steep going up Bald Rock. Took the beautiful meandering 2k path back down.
