Tasty Asia Takeaway

I haven’t tasted Asian food this good in years!!Yesterday went in there for dinner, we ordered a large special fried rice, Garlic king prawn, Pork ribs in plum sauce and there salt and pepper chicken. No complaints me and the partner actually wanted to go back again tonight but we thought we better not haha. We will be back very soon though to try more!! Wish I took photos looked absolutely amazing as well!

The food is great and the couple that have the store are lovely. Very helpful and polite. I have often had times the lid on my container won’t go on properly because the container has been filled up so much. Definitely value for money.

This is the best Chinese takeaway around. Lovely couple who run the place are so accommodating. They go to so much trouble to care for their customers. Generous portions. Freebies on big orders and a special touch on special calendar days like Mother’s Day and Father's Day. I was dreaming about it during lockdown - do yourself a favour. You won’t regret it. Amazing.

As we are finding it difficult to find good Chinese restaurants recently, we were recommended to try Tasty Asia Takeaway at Shortland.And we're happy we did.Old School Chinese Takeaway lives on at Tasty Asia! We ordered the $12 lunch specials including Honey Chicken (overflowing with chicken and fantastic flavour), Satay Chicken (Chinese style which is a little less peanut flavoured which was great) and Combination Garlic (my favourite which I will definitely get again). All of our meals were filling the container and heaps of protein (and not all sauce) in each dish. If you like old school Chinese Takeaway, give Tasty Asia a go. (Cash only too).

Best Chinese we've had since moving from Qld! And we've tried a few places, Prawn chips are perfect, Honey chicken is the BEST! So hot, crunchy and fresh, the lid didn't even fit on because there was so much in there! Can't fault the fried rice and Mongolian beef, yummy! Will definitely be back ☺️

Would never eat here since the lady was so rude. Parked on the PUBLIC street in front of her shop when she came out and yelled at us for parking there when we weren’t customers. I could understand (not that she would have any right still) if there more cars around so she wanted to keep the spot free for customers hoping to get quick takeaway. However we were visiting a friend across the road where we parked where there is no parking and there were no other cars around on that side of the street. She took down our number plate pretending she had some authority to report us. Horrible woman.

Awesome service, food was ready on arrival for pick up....
